Verna 1.4 CRDi uses the same engine as the i20 diesel. It is an 90 bhp motor which is at par with many sedans and comes mated to a 6 speed gearbox. Expect better performance than Manza, Sunny and Linea. i20 gives around 18kmpl in the city. This should more more less be same
The Verna 1.4 CRDi gives phenomenal fuel economy for a sedan. With a rated fuel average of 23 kmpl, it gives 19 kmpl in the city and over 21 on the highway, and that’s really good for a sedan. Yes,thank u..but would you advice me to go in for the 1.6 crdi for a lac more?
The Verna 1.6 CRDi puts out 126 bhp of power and hence, it will perform better than the 1.4 CRDi for sure. Expect on-road mileage to be in the range of 13 – 17 kmpl. Hence, for better performance, you can go for the 1.6 CRDi. Otherwise 1.4 CRDi is sufficient
If you can spend the extra money for the 1.6, go for it. It is a much better drive. It also gets the rear disc brakes which are missing on the 1.4.
