i think Vista D90 makes good sense as a premium hatchback…It has good maintenance,,mileage,,space,,comfort and great new features too..it has good ride quality….But lacks in A.S.S at some service centers..but its a VFM hatch….

Tata Vista D90 is a grt car…. very similar to manza in terms f perfrmance n also it shares d dash boards n instruments wid manza…. n comng to features, tuch screen music system wid GPS n mny more…. The car is good. We drove it recently, and I can safely say it’s one of the better cars to have come from Tata in recent years. Everything is pretty sorted with it. Plastics are so much better and actually feel good. The cabin has a plush feel. The engine is quiet and refined. Gearshift could have been better – as the throw is still long, but it’s…[Read more]

Which one should I buy: Fiat Punto or Chevrolet Sail (Both base diesel)? I am very confused, secondly Fiat car dealers are offering me a Rs.40,ooo discount & insurance free on the 2012 year make Punto and nothing on the 2013 make models. Please advise and clarify the confusion!

Between the two, I would advice going for the Punto – and the discount is a bonus. It will be more reliable in the long run, although the U-Va is too new to comment on longevity, and GM backs it up with a 3 year maintenance package.

Considering just the base models, my pick would be the Sail. It has more space and better ride quality. Engine tuning is also better on the Sail, which reflecting in the drivability and fuel economy. I dont think longevity should be an issue considering the best in class warranty packages. And then, proper service and support is assured, which is…[Read more]

All car makers have planned price increases and have already increased prices – Maruti did so sometime early January, by a small amount. There is no news of an excise duty hike from 1st Feb. The dealer may be trying to rush your purchase – to show more sales in January. If at all there is an excise revision – it will be after the Union Budget.

        OK..

but do you think there is price hike again in April ??

It’s possible there may be another round of price hikes after the Union budget is announced, if excise duty is hiked.

Both the Pulse and Sail U-Va are good cars. You should based on which one is more appealing to you. The Sail has smart storage space under its rear seats while the Pulse gets push button start. So its really a mixed bunch. My vote would be for the Pulse though, it is a good refined car that is comfortable and reasonably fun to drive.

Because your monthly run is going to be above 2000 KMs therefore you should go for a diesel car. You have not shared your budget but there are so many hatchbacks available in the diesel avatar – Beat, Figo, Vista, Ritz, Liva, Micra, Swift, Punto, Polo, Fabia and i20. All of them are fuel efficient. If you want to go for Sedan then you have -…[Read more]

For All ur requirements there’s one car..Maruti Suzuki Ertiga..it will fit in ur budget and will suit ur needs…. but all the 7 may not be comfortable in Ertiga if u use it regularly….Another option is Mahindra Xylo which is very much spacious and comfortable….

You can wait for the EcoSport, it will fit all your requirements, but will be a little expensive to maintain than the Ertiga.
