Tata Safari Storme is a good vehicle from the company. Its only the driving position and few small things like that which just don’t give the right feel. Still, it has many other things going for it. MNM Scorpio has been on the road for long and really need a change in styling now, I think Scorpio will do much better at this price.
I would not recommend you to go with Safari Storme as its strictly a 5-seater SUV.
The last row is only suitable for kids and long term reliability is still an issue…
M&M has decent space and comfort too…and handling is also not the best…
U can also look for Mahindra XUV 500 but the budget will be high
telling honestly, storme is one amng the best SUV’s which u can buy… it has improved a lot in terms of drivability & handlling, gear shifts ( has become more smoother ) when comparing with its predecessors.. The main speciality of safari is its commanding driving position & comforts which it offers… also, safari is known for its off-road…[Read more]
Within that budget, the M&M Scorpio is probably better value for money VLX (7-seater with captain seats in the second row). It may not have a good a ride quality as the Tata Safari Storme, but M&M service standards have definitely improved now if that is a concern. However, if you are willing to battle it out at service stations, the Tata Safari…[Read more]
Is there any suv in india as spacious as the Toyota quails?Because I have been searching for one and am unable to find one.@Roshun sir,but Scorpio is not good on space at all.Yes even I have read about the controversy of force one related to Chinese parts…….
U may get Spacious MPV like the Xylo, Evalia, Enjoy and the Innova
If space is a main priority, then you’ll have to look at MPVs – Xylo / Innova / Enjoy / Evalia as Shenoy says are spacious MPVs.
Mr.Rishab, go to this link http://www.cartoq.com/2012-toyota-fortuner-vs-mitsubishi-pajero-sport-who-wins/ & decide your self, which is the best one which suit ur needs…. i wud personally prefer Toyota Fortuner cz of the best selling premium SUV image, better features and space, above all Toyota’s brand value, reliability & A.S.S…. Regards
Fortuner is more reliable as it is a Toyota. Personally, I like the old Pajero more. The uplift is not that impressive. I’d say Fortuner.
experts wat about the santa fe
There is nothing wrong with the Pajero Sport except the way in which Mitsubishi India seems to behave as if it will pack up anyday and close itse service centres. It is just as capable a vehicle as the Fortuner.
I think Xylo has better fit and finish
Xylo is better and very spacy!!
Xylo’s levels of fit and finish can only be tolerated in a Mahindra people mover. Duster does better in this regard. Both vehicles are sturdy and are meant to log lakhs of km
Duster is far better in fit and finish and not only that, materials used are also good. In this price range, Duster looks like doing much more than a Xylo.
I guess its 3800 INR.
I use BG System’s Quick Clean engine flush on my Scorpio. It costs Rs 600 a can. Fully synthetic engine oil costs bw Rs1000-1200 per ltr for petrol engine oil(Mobil 1, Castrol Edge etc) and Rs800-900 per ltr for diesel engine oil(Mobil Delvac 1)
Engine flushing fluids vary in cost by brand. I’ve also used BG – Rs. 600 for a can, and I’ve used STP engine flush (Rs. 450) too. Good synthetic oil costs about Rs. 900 a litre, although you get cheaper options now from Caltex and Castrol that are about Rs. 400 a litre too. You’ll need about 3.5 litres I think.
I believe Honda Amaze would better in terms of driveability and maneuverability as it is a sedan and based on Brio which is already a segment leader. Micra on the other hand is not that involving.
The Amaze’s 1.5 iDtec Earth Dreams tech diesel engine feels more free-revving than the 1.5 K9K that the Micra uses. Both the Micra and Amaze have virtually no turbo-lag, but from the short stint with the Amaze engine, I find it revs quicker than the K9K does.
here, Chevy Sail is more practical since it is more spacious & comfortable.. It too has d same engine 1.3L multijet which is being used by D’zire & others…d gud part is dat chevy offers 5 yrs warranty on engine & transmission alng wid 3 yr chevy promise free maintenance package… wot i say is dat, if u need a practical cum complete sedan, then…[Read more]
Petrol or diesel, why bother with either car? The Honda Amaze is now on sale and should be the first choice.
Maruti DZire., Because maintenance coast,service station,Resale Value,Fuel Efficiency that’s all…..DZire is the Best….
You must check out amaze before making any decision . Sail has punchy engine, best suspension for Indian roads and space but then Dzire has all that too and at much impressive price. One thing which I did not like about the Sail is interior. Dzire feels more premium from inside too.
sail the bst opp
i mean witch engine…..
Mr.Rahul, cc & capacity of a 4-cyl. engine wud be higher dan a 3-cyl. engine… but when it comes to power delivery, 3-cyl. engine is nearly equal to dat of 4 cyl. engines & wud give better mileage due to less frictional parts…. but d overall perfrmance is influenced by d technology used in d same… jz look at d 1.0L K-Series engine used by…[Read more]
Not fair to generalize as such. It all depends on the particular car and the execution. They say 3cylinder engine are lazy performers, but the 1.0K series is best in class. They say 3cylinder engine are noisy and unrefined. The Beat D is way more silent and smoother and the Swift D, for instance. 3cylinder engine are supposed to have higher…[Read more]
Over the time both 3 cylinder and 4 cylinder engines have improved in every manner. Buying a car with less number of cylinders is not exactly the right move. Power and efficiency figures are more important than cylinders.
i mindly thanx to u all,big big thanx…..
Sir u r Absolutely right but i Littley observed, i think 4 cylinder Engine is the Better on 3 cylinder in noising and any other…..
The sportz model came in later by around 2010 begining. A 2009 Magna should be around 2.5 lacs and 2010 about 2.75 lacs
Around 2.75-3 lakh depending on the condition.
If everything is OK, than consider 10% depreciation p.a.
innova
Saying which is the best in all aspects is impossible.Comparing ertiga and innova innova scores more for space and 2nd row comfort. But then u shud spend about 4 laks more.Quanto is a diff vehicle altogether.Tavera and Xylo has its own plus..May b with thw lower price tagging xylo and ertiga can be judged better cars. But if price is not an issue…[Read more]
Ertiga for tight budget Innova for stretched one.
If you are not concerned about budget than Innova is anytime best. Ertiga and quanto are a VFM cars. Xylo is allrounder.
Dear Karthik As Arun rightly said there is no comparison in all respect However if budget is no problem then Innov is good buy but if you want the comfort in less budget then Xylo is very good choice the diffrence between top model of xylo and Innova is appx 3 lakhs. now ertiga has only one advantage of Brand Maruti besides nothing…[Read more]
