What kind of budget are you looking at for the i10′s music system? You get systems from as low as Rs. 8000 right up to Rs. 25,000. As for central locking, get an AutoCop system. It should cost you about Rs. 3,500 for a normal one, or up to Rs. 8,500 for one that incorporates a GPS tracking device in it as well.
pioneer is cheap and best
my budget for the system is approximately 5000.
Then you can get the grey market popular Pioneer ‘Thailand’ Make with green light(Indian one has Red) without warranty for 5k.It has CD+USB with 50w x 4 MOSFET.Regards…
If you are not driving 800+ kms a month go for petrol. The Sail makes a lot of sense in your context and they service and warranty options that Chevrolet is offering with the car are simply amazing. The Figo is a good option too. Test drive the Figo, Sail and even the Toyota Liva. Then decide based on which one you find the most practical.
since your daily drive is limited to less than 30kms per day. you should look petrol car, petrol cars need less maintainance, as you liked Sail U-VA i suggest you buy the Sail sedan with more boot space as you have a budget of 7.7Lakh. however increase your budget to Rs 30000 more so you can buy the Sail ABS.
Sail might give you a bit more space in the rear seat. But looks like you are a bit particular about looks – so which car do you like visually? Dzire is not a particularly smart looking car, and you dont like i20. What about Swift? Sail itself is not a very dramatic looking car…
Why dont you look up on fiesta classic Ford Fiesta Classic Titanium 1.6 Duratec Petrol it is 7.12 lakhs if you consider for space . It would give you enough space for 5 persons which would give better space than the hatches mentioned above.
polo will be best suited to you as per your needs
Shekhawar RD350 is hard to find even if you find one, depends on how badly you want to buy one and whats the condition of the vehicle. And again if its an LT or HT. The band at which running RDs are selling is 1-2 lks. So depends on the condition totally! Secondly both RX100 and 135 are good in their own ways.. 100 has a better low end grunt.. 135…[Read more]

swift or ritz forget i20.
Actually, nothing like the Punto for Indian road conditions. Highest GC and the best tuned suspension. Ritz is acceptable as well. Cars like i20, Figo and Jazz need to be driven with a lot of care.
You can easily feel and see the difference. With 5 people and luggage, most hatchbacks will start bottoming out quicker since the GC is lower and suspension softer than a Punto. Also if the car is on a hydraulic ramp, the under-body of the Punto has visibly stronger protection unlike other hatch backs which are on a diet of under-body safety to…[Read more]
no comparison with punto in driving experience. it is the roadking car.
i20 is a strick no and then the Swift (body sheet just too thin) Punto is the winner in any case, any terrain, any weather !
You can expect a realistic 11-12kmpl with the Thar under most conditions. Its only when you are stuck in low gears or are off roading that mileage will drop into single figures.
thar will give you 13-14 easily
Thanks, Means 15 Kmpl is a difficult task or not realistic with this machine..
15kmpl, possible but very difficult
take figo instead and you will be more than happy else go for swift.
Two petrol cars are very strong in the same budget. The Figo and the Sail UVA. The Figo has bluetooth to differentiate while the Sail has all 4 power windows and a tad more space. If you can live with front 2 power windows, the Figo is better. If its practicality outright and functionality, it would be the UVA.
figo is best car if u want more with paying less
Thanks all, I think I am paying more attention to interior.. reason is relatively clear that most of my time I would spend in the car. Hence its important. that car should have decent not cheap interiors, good boot, good mileage with decent power.
no cheap interiors then Sail is out of the list. Figo is the call now
Can anyone give suggestion on Polo highline petrol, I heard that it has maintenance issues(delay in repairs and cost) and second it has lesser power. I could not get the TD on the petrol version as it was not in the stock in dealership. Experts comments would be helpful.
Petrol polo is useless cramp car…De why don’t you buy Swift or Jazz
@Rohit thanks for your comment.. Jazz is good vehicle only point is is little out of my bugdet. Swift is good only drawback my friend told me has little less boot also pricing its costing 7.1l for zxi.
The Jazz base version should cost you less than 7 lacs and it has all the bells & whistles except the alloys.
2.3 lacs to 3 lacs at max to max. since 2013 has started so your car is almost 5 years old
2 lakh…..
Thanks Ishmeet & shekhawar singh
kabhi kabhi agar aapki i2o chadhahi nahi chad pati toh aap apni car theek karvayein ………
Air horns over 120 db are illegal in city limits. But you can get electro-pneumatic air horns. Stebel Nautilus is one of the better ones. http://www.stebel.it/stebel2012/products.asp?menu=products&submenu=ELECTROPNEUMATICS Hella also has one wind-tone horn, while Fiamm has compressor driven wind horns.
No air horns, its illegal. You can get the wind-tone in Roots, Hella as well as Minda.
why you want to increase air pollution
there is already too much sound and air pollution
if u are fond of airhorns go for it , and enjoy royal sound…… dont take tension of these small things.
Yup i agree it causes air pollution. I never intend to use it in city spaces. its just fun to use them on highways occasionally. Also sometimes required to get attention of other drivers not giving a pass over taking.
Thanks so much Roshun Povaiahji, i checked out stebel nautilius. Its amazing and break through technology. But i wonder where can i get it in Vadodara, Gujarat.
