@madhuk – My vote will go for the Ritz ZXi because it has got better engine and it gives far better stats for fuel economy as compare to the Figo Titanium (P). As a trade-off, you might lose ~10% of space in terms of leg room and boot space but you will get better ground clearance, rear power windows, adjustable rear head-rests and 60:40 split…[Read more]
go for Ritz
if you think about family car go for ford figo.
There is no best car, you have to choose which car fulfills your needs the best, that is the best car for you. It is a choice you have to make between what is more important to you. Dave has clearly mentioned the the trade offs between the two. To add there is bluetooth connectivity only in the Figo. It also gets HPS (which is better) against…[Read more]
if u r OK with the Fuel economy of Figo then go for Figo coz Ford has more legroom & space then Ritz Moreover Figo will be cheaper than Ritz Zxi
For those open to considering it, no car is as good a package as the Vista. It is the most spacious, the most comfortable vehicle in that price range. Offers maximum features along with the most competitive price tag. Is genuinely good to drive as well
I would suggest you to consider Vista as ur 1st choice among the cars u have listed..
Its spacious, feature loaded, fuel-efficient and comfortable for families…
Hi, when I look at the age range, my vote tilts in favor of the Ritz. High seating position and the easiest ingress & egress is what takes the podium for it. Also considering blind spots too, I would choose the Ritz over the Vista for visibility from the driver’s seat. If there would be sorting, it would be the Ritz, Vista, Figo for me, in that…[Read more]
Actually, the seats of the Vista, front and rear, are higher set than the Ritz. And its doors open the widest.
Apologies and thanks for correcting me. In that case, the Vista triumphs over the Rtiz.
if you are concern about least blind spot and maximum road visibility & busy traffic driving go for ford figo because in figo driver setting position is excellent, more glass area. It has excellent low & mid range torque for busy traffic driving.
No, you should not be hearing any screeching sounds from the brakes. Check the brakes – it could be build up of dust in the pads, or some abnormal brake pad wear. Get it checked at the next service – and also get the brake rotors checked. Sometimes just a high-pressure wash should solve the issue, if it is only dust build up (since you’ve done…[Read more]
yes, you are correct its a screeching sound. I reported this problem to ford service center, they remove the break pads and some polish by polish paper after that the sound is gone. But after 400km it happened again.
Fogs are always a good move. Install higher wattage bulbs as well
You could upgrade the headlight bulbs to 90w/100 with a relay and wiring kit to increase visibility, and as Shreyans suggests, get good fog lamps too
If its the close range visibility that you are looking for, then you need to get or uprate the fogs since their reflectors spread the light more but at a very small distance in front of the car which can never substitute the head lights. If its the high beam and / or long distance visibility that you are looking for, then its the head lights that…[Read more]
Regular maintenance which includes changing of fluids , washing, minor repairing etc would be very much similar for all the cars. The thing which would differ is availability of service centers and cost of parts and in this case Maruti Suzuki is still far ahead of all other car makers in India.
The general perception is that Maruti cars are cheaper to maintain which is also true for the most part. On the other hand it isn’t like Ford cars are expensive to maintain either. The difference between part costs isn’t huge, also the regular service costs vary only by a little, so the Figo diesel is not really a costly car to maintain. If it…[Read more]
Figo diesel is not costly for maintenance second (10,000 km) servicing charge only 1900 Rs.
i20 is the best
i20 has the best quality. Next are Polo and Fabia, who are basically cousins!
Built quality go for polo fabia or punto…i20 swift will only be my second choices..
Polo and Fabia have the best combinations of build and interior quality. Punto is by far the most solidly built in terms of heft and the thud of the doors but interior quality is so so. i20 is quite acceptable, as is the Vista(quite good actually). Swift feels light in comparison, and the Liva disappointing.
Punto 90Hp Sport will give you all round quality in terms of solid built, stiff suspension setup for bad roads, good interiors with quite few amazing features and service interval of 15000 km. interiors of polo and i20 are quite good but engine and handling is not as good as punto. Swift and liva are budget type cars with not so good interiors and…[Read more]
polo comes with best and branded interior among all of them.
“VW Polo” and Skoda Fabia are known for its built quality.!!
@ Shreyans Jain, please tell me about ford figo?
Figo: decently solid, more than acceptable. But again, plastic quality is so-so. Think of it as i20 levels of solidity and Punto quality of interior plastics.
there is no difference…. Both ford fiesta classic n figo uses d same diesel engine ie. 1.4L Duratorq, even there is no difference in power delivery n torque too….
Same engine, same tuning. No difference whatsoever.
same engine different cars
Same engine. But for reasons unknown to mankind, they say classic has a mileage of over 30kmpl.
Yes, 100% same as far as I know.
that was just for setting a record they had claimed the mileage at 32kmpl..but in real world it delivers around 19kmpl!!!
i noticed on ford India web site Ford Fiesta Classic having “Advanced Common Rail” Fuel System and Ford Figo having “Common Rail” Fuel System. So, i think as per specifications slightly difference between two engines.
Ummm… not really I guess I reckon they are all same. I would be positively surprised to be wrong here but I think the word “Advanced”, if at all used, might be unintentional rather than showing the difference between Classic and Figo. From specs (CC, size, output, etc) perspective, both cars have the same engine.
