Can you please suggest a petrol car for a family of three. My budget is up to Rs. 7.5 lakh (On Road). It should be spacious and easy to drive and maintain. Mileage is not a constraint, as I will be using it only once or twice in a week. The engine should be powerful. This will be my first car, I really can't decide between the Honda Jazz and Hyundai i20. Please Guide me.

Spacious, easy to drive and maintain – the Jazz which is the best overall petrol hatch. Power, handling, once a week car – the Punto Emotion (1.4L) is a notch above the rest.

Honda City grill, Honda Accord headlamps over in front. Mercedes E rear lamp structure mashed by Lexus side tail lamps. This company is running out of design ideas.

The rear of the Figo tends to squat down when fully loaded, and it’s the rear bumper / mud flaps that hit mostly. However, over large speedbreakers, it is best to take it diagonally, as the middle also tends to touch. It’s the same with most premium hatchbacks and mid-size sedans – except for perhaps the SX4 and Punto to some extent (Punto tends…[Read more]

Depends. As a chauffeur driven car, the Sunny wins, otherwise, it would be the Verna for me.

Verna for looks .!!! Sunny for Comfort and Space.!! Personally I would go in for Nissan Sunny over Verna. As both cars are good .. choice is yours as to what purpose you need one.

Manoj, Ford Fiesta is the way to go. Verna’s handling is not too great the back tyres have a mind of their own. It is not even stable at 80kmph. Even though the equipment list is exhaustive in Verna I would suggest you to decide against it.

May I also suggest Skoda Rapid to you. It is the best car of the segment as far as diesels are concerned.

Fiesta is the loud answer, if you ask or drive on your own and not on what is there is market.

The new fiesta is a great handling car @Sai, and is a far better car than the Verna. The pricing takes it down.

verna is poor in terms of handling and new ford fiesta is great but higher price takes it down. instead consider honda city if looking for petrol car. else skoda rapid is also a good option.

There is long list, Start with Fiat Punto 90 hp, figo titanium, i20, Quonto, Even Xylo E4 might fit to ur budget, Also there is Duster if you stretch a bit and if you can wait, wait for ECO sport.

Agar aapka budget 8 lkhs tk kaa hai, fir aap duster afford kr skte hain.
Bolero se jyada comfortable hai. Ertiga bhi ek acha option hai, lekin duster better option hai.

You could also look at the Mahindra Quanto in the same price range – more refined than Bolero. (Google translate: आप भी इस कीमत रेंज में महिंद्रा Quanto में लग सकता है – बोलेरो की तुलना में और अधिक परिष्कृत.)

I Think Bolero hi best option he ye Duster itni comfortable nahi he par Tough road me iska koi mukabala nahi kar sakta. (like a mini Hummer).

are you going for petrol or diesel. If petrol, the Figo is a little under powered and may not suit especially for highway driving. If diesel, both Figo and Micra are good, but Figo comes with a lesser price tag but more features while Micra comes with all goodies at a higher price tag.
