Definitely Honda City is the best buy if ure lukng for a mid-size petrol sedan…In fact, There r no other cars in the segment to beat the perfrmance & fuel-efficiency of a honda i-VTEC engine.. Also, honda has good A.S.S & maintenance cost of honda is affordable…. Regards :)

Thanx.my heart already went to honda city & you justified it.Only a couple of things just worries me.Head room is too small for my father(6.5) & the VFM compared to hyundai verna which is offering me so much gadgets

If you can manage with 5seats, nothing quite like the Honda City. The S model has practically all the equipment you’ll need. As for the Verna, it needs to offer gadgets to cover up the fundamental deficiencies in its driving dynamics.

Honda City is the best choice if you are looking for a midsize petrol sedan. Go for it, its truly a very good car without any comparison.

You Can also consider a Test drive of Fiat Linea T-jet which is newly launched. Honda is the best but you can see Tjet Performance , ride and handling of the car

The same driver has no problem when driving other cars, so is it the cars problem or drivers. Simple logic.

I remember apple telling iphone 4 users its not the phone that is the problem, its just that they don’t know how to hold it. I believe that brakes should work regardless of half or quarter clutch or watever and yes thats how other cars work …

I rarely use the accelerator pedal on my car (with the same multijet engine as the Swift diesel, at least) in stop-and-go conditions. I use the brakes and let the car idle in first gear to maintain momentum. It is not the best way to increase brake life, but at least it prevents clutch over-use. Most drivers are experienced enough to depress…[Read more]

I have a new swift LDI and I dont seem to be facing this issue. But if some users are facing such a issue, Maruti has to look into this. The answer is very horrible indeed.

Fabia is known for its interiors with solid built quality, impressive fit and finish that gives a premium feel. Skodas are expensive to maintain and Fabia is no exception. If you can manage that, you can go ahead with the Fabia.

VW Polo and Fiat Grande Punto are also good options if you can test drive them. Skoda is kind of obsolete in its features.

The Skoda Fabia petrol is very value for money. It is a big hatchback by Indian standards. And you dont have to wait for it like with a Swift. On the other hand, a few years back, there were complaints about Skoda’s service quality.

Thankfully service intervals are only once in 15,000 km. Charges may be slightly on the higher side, because Skoda uses synthetic engine oil (which is more expensive, but lasts longer). Skoda has been known for service issues. It would help if you stay with the car when at the service station, as generally just you being there and ensuring with…[Read more]

I am planning to buy a petrol hatchback in the range of 2-4 lakhs. My top priority is fuel economy, after sales service, resale value and value for money features. I have shortlisted the Nano, WagonR, i10, Brio and Hyundai eon. Please suggest among these or any other car if you'd  like.

Considering everything, it should be the WagonR. It is very spacious, reliable, no maintenance etc. Nano is too underpowered, and Brio is too difficult to get because of the very long waiting period. Eon is a nice car with great looks, if you like it, go for it!

WagonR’s official mileage is 17kmpl, you will get around 14-15 kmpl in Delhi City depending on traffic. Eon’s official mileage is 21 kmpl. The car is very new, so we do not have any actual mileage information. My guess is 17 kmpl is possible for the Eon.
