Bikes do. Its just that, developing a small capacity diesel engine, esp single cylinder, and then refining it to optimal levels is near impossible. And if it was done, that bike would be way more expensive that its petrol counterparts. And then, petrol motorcycles have always been efficient enough. The world’s fastest bike, the 400kmph+ Y2K, runs…[Read more]

Chevrolet Sail compared against all entry-sedans

The Chevrolet Sail sedan offers surprisingly good value for money at the price point that it has been launched at. It is directly priced against the Maruti Dzire, which is the current sales leader in the entry sedan segment, and the Sail is also highly competitive against other entry sedans such as the Toyota Etios, Tata Manza, Ford Classic and Mahindra Veri

        1. Sail is priced the same as the Dzire, despite the excise benefit to the latter. Shows you much much money Maruti is minting, especially considering its economy of scale. 2.The interior quality on the current Manza is far batter than the Sail’s. In fact, its a contender for best in class. 3. Etios comes across as overpriced but its petrol engine…[Read more]

Well the Ecosport has been delayed, and there are no two ways about it, but then, let us keep in mind that Ford has managed to keep up the customer excitement to a great extent in spite of the delays in its launch. The real effect of the delay can only be understood by its post launch performance and that will depend on its pricing.

Not at all. A car once registered can be driven and used all over India. The road tax is paid for a 15year period. Its just that the cops may unnecessarily keep flagging you down for checking or for chai-paani in the new state. And that the resale value is always lower if the car is registered in another state. But legally, nobody can touch you.

The Vista is the better car when you look at what you get for what price. However, that’s not why 9/10 people buy a Fiat. They buy it because Fiats appeal to the heart and they are cars that grown on you over time, not over a price list or a feature list or a test drive.

The Asta (O) is only a petrol variant..not available in diesel… so what is shame in that…
And yes..many say that i20 is not suitable for enthusiasts as it has a light steering..
but many of them like light steering… i myself have drove my i20 at a speed of more than 125kmph..but i havnt felt anytime so

People stuck with i20 they said i20 is best car in the world. Stay away from your car and post comments if you give honest comments ! Try to answer the question? question asked is punto or Vista. Speed of 125 kmph is not a high speed though go beyond that what ur i20 actually respond say 140+..I think vista is better than punto

go and sit on the vista d90 you feel what kind of improvements they made on that car. i think i20 is not a VFM hatch as it cost you more. When u cost more u get more features. i20 is not a VFM hatch where as Vista D90 is VFM hatch right now…Vista D90 lot of improvements like improved NVH levels,SatNAV, Bluetooth and the list goes on .Finally…[Read more]

and even they are bringing down the prices of vista to boost the sales…. this is not required with i20..
Being the costliest hatch in the premium hatchback segment..still it is on no.2 ranking among its segment :)

@ Shenoy well said. i20 is the only hatch in the country today whose prices have increased to many fold, but sale figure has never effected by that. even after price hike in i20 recently, the demand of such mighty hatch is there. i20 crdi asta is now close to 9lkh but still people are buying because they know what they are getting…A Premium,…[Read more]
