To celebrate the new year, Mercedes has introduced one special edition variant of both their small hatchbacks, the A and the B Class. Christened the ‘Night Edition’, they have been desinged for ‘go getters’, who want to arrive in style everywhere they go, according to what Mercedes Benz has to say. They will be limited to a 100 units each.
The A Class has always been the sporty looking small hatchback and has been adequately successful. To enhance the exteriors, subtle changes have been done, like black finish on the exterior mirrors, diamond grill, the 17″ rims, and gloss trim on the front and rear bumper. The car also gets a Night Edition badge on the rear tailgate.
On the inside, the special edition comes with the stand alone 8″ media screen that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The normal A and B Class have the screen, however they lack the multimedia compatibility (Android auto and Apple Carplay). A 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel is on offer and the seats are finished in a combination of ARTICO leather and fabric.
