Of-course, the tyres are radial one. Most tyres today are radials. Yes, due to less rolling resistance it leads to better fuel efficiency.
Radial tires. The are standard on every passenger car sold today. You'l find old cross-ply tires only on commercial vehicles and perhaps on the Omni.
