Swift is better in terms of mileage,handling but the space is a thing to worry about.Features are adequate in ZDI model as it comes with 2 airbags,ABS,Alloys,Music System and all.i20 is powerful with 90 hp engine but the mileage is on the swift's side.But i recommend you to go for the swift side as its your first car(Maruti's good on first car as the spares are cheap when compared to the i20)

first of all i wanna tell there is diff of price swift n i20. Hyundai i20 starts from 6.18 (1.4 crdi diesel) n top model sports goes 7.04 . so u have to choose . n there is a big diff in swift facility n i 20 facility. if u wanna milage near abt 18 then go for swift

Prashik Medhekar,There's no problem in buying the Swift Dzire by stretching your budget because it shares the same engine of swift.The Boot is present in it to keep your luggage thats all.And the equipment lists makes it pretty good value for money,i suggest you to buy the VDI,it will be good.If you dont mind,Tata Manza is also a good option and they give you more features and the spacious interiors makes it a good option for 5 people to travel comfortably. The Manza is powerful with 90HP engine
