That is a lot of driving Shashank! The quick answer is Chevrolet Beat diesel. It will fit in your budget, and you get around 19-20 kmpl. The only other car that will come close is the regular Indica (not Vista, that is costlier). If you haven't driven the Beat diesel yet, I suggest you should get a test drive first to figure out if you are OK with it or not. Ritz and Figo both have diesel models, but both are costlier.
The Beat diesel's base LS model will be touching 5lakh OTR Delhi. Indica eV2 can be looked at too. I am rather wary of the second hand diesel idea. An ill maintained diesel can be OK today and suddenly require maintenance tomorrow. A very practical option for you as a resident of NCR will be CNG. Pick up a WagonR green and enjoy years of no tension motoring without burning a hole in your pocket.
Shashank: Your options are limited to the beat diesel and the Tata Indica ev2 at this price point. If you can afford to stretch your budget the the Ford Figo is another good option.
