Go for the base variant as you are using it for occasional business purpose and the rent doesnt makes any difference. Whichever variant you choose, it will going to count only as "E-class". So, better save your money.
Agree with Chandan, no one is really going to bother which variant of the E- class it is, as long as it is an E.
