I am looking for a hatchback car within the range of 4 to 5.5L. The average running of the car will be 1000 to 1200km a month. I am ok to have Petrol car that should be low on maintenance, high on average and decent space so that 5 people can sit. I have selected following Petrol cards Tata Vista, Ritz, Swift,Figo. Please suggest which one to go for. I am ok even if some other car you guys refer. Thanks in advance.

At 1200kms..you should prefer diesel... But as u are going for petrol...in your budget..Tata Vista and Figo will be good for space,,comfort for 5 people...Ritz and Swift will be the easiest to maintain with its low cost maintenance and they are fuel efficient too but only 4 people can sit comfortably in these cars....i20 is a great option for you with good fuel economy,,space ,,comfort and features..but its very pricey and its base model will in your budget!!!
Pick Figo as it is the most VFM and an all-rounder in the lot. You will get the top variant of Figo under 5.5 lacs which has all the essential safety features. Its spacious and comfortable for 5 along with some extra boot space as compared to others in the segment. Its handling is also great. Its an all-rounder family car.
I'l be favor of diesel here. Limit your choices to the Figo and the Vista if you are looking for a spacious and economical runabout for 5. Consider the Liva as well.
Swift will be my obvious first choice from your list, would have loved to stretch to Jazz.
go for vista D90. 90hp engine ,lot of space ,auto ac ,2 din music system ,sat nav and lot more (you can get automatic climate control in just around 6 lak ).Better handling, Better NVH levels and acceptable mileage. suspension is retuned. features that are listed in vista d90 , that you can see this kind of features in 10+ lakhs cars only.Its truely Value for money car......
