I want to upgrade the tyres of my Chevy Beat to 185/70/R14. Is that a good upgrade? How will it ffact the ride quality and performance? by Pushpendu Das on April 13, 2012 asked in 2 answers Roshun Povaiah answers: That size (70 profile) is a bit too big for the Beat. The Beat’s original size is 155/70 R14 and some also have 165/65 R14. If you want to go for a 185 width on the Beat, you will need to go down to a lower profile, like 185/60 R 14. Make sure you get good alloys that can take this tyre width. Handling will improve quite a bit (and so will the looks). Pushpendu Das answers: Thanks bro!!! i will fix 185/60/R14 tyres.
