Tata Safari Storme wud be the best choice if u need a real off-roader along wid gud perfrmance n comforts... Tata Claims a mileage of 11KMPL in cities & 15.1KMPL on highways for storme 4WD, but can xpect an avg. mileage of 10-12KMPL....
then what about XUV 5oo, scorpio, and other in same suv segment...
I own a CRDE 4x4 Scorpio, and get 10.8 kmpl (summer) and 11.2 kmpl (winter) in the city, and have got 12.9 kmpl on the highway. A friend recently got the new M-Hawk LX 4x4 and he gets 12.3 kmpl in the city. If you don't want a full-fledged 4x4 and are content with an all-wheel drive model - the XUV500 awd would be more fuel efficient, 13 plus is what people claim.
