Well, speaking of the diesels, I think the XUV is a better bet. Gizmos and safety features, strong performance with good economy, street cred and tons of space. Bring the Tjet into the picture and the scene shifts dramatically for an enthusiastic driver. A bonkers engine in a sharp handling car that does all the basics right + is available with hefty discounts......its an excellent package.
One is a car, one is a crossover. I think they serve different needs. That said, the XUV is huge for four people. But compared to the Linea it's atleast Rs. 4 lakh more expensive.
go for Renault Duster!! Aure superhit!!
On a strict budget, Linea makes sense, especially since the other sedan closes to Linea, which is the new Ford Fiesta, is not selling either. If you have the money, go for the XUV 500. The Duster is a good alternative too, but then there is the Vento / Rapid and Verna to consider as well.
