pankaj DONT GO 4R PETROL BEAT as my frd owns one its gives an avg fe of jus 9 -10kms only in city better to go 4r cars equipped wid either k-series engines as vishwas said or u may also check kappa eng cars like da i10,20 ...as i personally own altok10 it gives me 14 kms in city n 18 on highway ...

Go for the Honda brio if u want a petrol... The bookings are open and it ll b launched in a week..

the most fuel efficent petrol Cars are Alto k10, A-Star and Hundai Eon.Apart from that I own a maruti 800 AC (5speed) which gives a milage of 26kmpl on highway.
