Seven seater SUV for city driving. 3rd row required but will be used occasionally. Fortuner 4X2 MT was my choice until Rexton (RX7) came along. Advice?

I think Fortuner will be a good choice...with good space,,features and overall reliabily..its good for city drives..however it has a little bouncy ride...3rd row seating is not quite good as there is less legroom and legs will be in an upright position.. Rexton is also a popular choice nowadays... it has great features..and space and is more comfortable than fortuner in the middle row...However its last row is very low seated and best suited for small kids...So test drive both vehicles,,and then decide..Thanks
Rexton's thrid row is just not usable, not even occasionally. Captiva 2.2 is a bit expensive, see if you can stretch to it. Otherwise, by the law of elimination, you are left with the Fortuner. Do buy the sutomatic though. Its such a boon for city driving.
Rexton's third row is like sitting on the boot floor with a cushion and back rest - there is very little difference in height between the floor and seat base. (See our Rexton video: http://www.cartoq.com/expertvoice/mahindra-ssangyong-rexton-video-review-laidback-luxurious-suv/) . Fortuner has a better third row in that sense. There's also the Endeavour 4x2 Automatic at the same price as the Rexton, but the Endy lacks features, and is pretty huge - it sticks its nose out in parking lots.
Fortuner or Pajero Sports...rexton best be avoided is looking for 7 seater
Thanks Guys, So Fortuner it is !!!!!!!!
good choice :)
