Abhijit, which state do you have in mind/ Renault is opening new dealerships and service cneters across India, but you may find that outside Kolkata, things may be difficult for now. it will be better by the time Duster launches. Take a look here to see their current service centers - http://renault.co.in/contact/dealers.html Ford is in much better shape when it comes to service centers across India as they had time to set it up over the years. Also, EcoSport is expected only early 2013, so there is time.
If you are comparing the servicing standards of Maruti with Ford and Renault, the Maruti will win easily. But since, the car market is competitive like never before and car makers are rapidly developing infrastructure especially in tier II and tier III cities, over a period of years, service standard can be expected to be in par with the market leader.
Service standards at Ford and Renault are good as they are looking to please. However, the reach of service centers is not as big as Maruti's. Ford recently expanded is service center reach with 45 more service centers in February. Renault plans to reach a 100 totally by December. Ford is at 230 service centers.
