19 June, 2008 Toyota Kirloskar Motor is
organizing its ‘Rain Gain’, a 45 days
long monsoon campaign at 62
dealerships across the country
starting from June 16, 2008. Welcoming
the monsoons after hot summers, the
yearly campaign helps customers to
gear up their vehicle for the upcoming
monsoon season in addition to periodic
maintenance. Last year Toyota
serviced around 52,000 vehicles during
monsoon campaign. This year too,
Toyota is looking forward to a good
response. The focus of the service and
maintenance campaign is primarily on
customer safety while traveling in
rains. A free 20-point vehicle check
will be offered to the customer
visiting Toyota dealerships, for
trouble free driving in monsoon
season. Customers will also get an
attractive assured gift after
completion of servicing the vehicle.
A TKM Customer Service spokesperson
said: “We received good response last
year for the same campaign. The
success of the campaign highlights the
servicing needs of a vehicle, as it is
prone to face rigid roads during
monsoons. This campaign helps
customers to enjoy hassle free driving
during monsoons. Toyota dealerships
have a professional team trained to
cater to the special needs of vehicles
at this time of the year.” Customers
prefer to replace wiper blade, washer
fluid, engine oil & oil filter and
other monsoon related parts in this
season. To ensure success of this
monsoon campaign all the dealerships
are well stocked and geared up with
the support from all its associates.
Currently Toyota has 62 state of the
art 3S facilities in India providing
sales, service & service parts support
to its Qualis, Innova, Corolla, Camry
& Prado customers. TKM is a joint
venture between Toyota Motor
Corporation and the Kirloskar Group.
TKM has invested nearly Rs 1,500 crore
in its plant at Bidadi, employing
nearly 2,800 people. The plant started
production in December 1999 and has a
capacity of producing 60,000 units
annually. |
