It’s raining discounts! Like we said, dealers and car companies have set new targets for the new fiscal and are offering good discounts in the first month of the financial year to have a headstart of sorts. Also, some of our cars are about to get updated and hence, offers on these cars are really just too good to be ignored. Here’s a list of car discounts of Rs 50,000 and above for the month of April 2018 –
The Maruti Ciaz will get a facelift later this year. The update will help the car fare better against the Honda City and the Hyundai Verna. Also, the upcoming Toyota Yaris will also rival this Maruti sedan. Till the facelift is out, it’s being sold at huge discounts to keep the buyers interested. The diesel variant is available with a cash discount of Rs 30,000. There’s a discount of Rs 15,000 on the petrol variant. Both the cars are available with an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000.
The Maruti Ignis has been posting respectable numbers on the sales charts. However, it’s still available with a cash discount of Rs 30,000 for the diesel variant and Rs 15,000 for the petrol variant. There’s also an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 on all variants.
Maruti Alto 800
The Maruti Alto 800 is available with a cash discount of Rs 25,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. This leads to a benefit of Rs 50,000, which is a substantial discount for an entry-level car.
Maruti Alto K10
The Maruti Alto K10 AMT is available with a cash discount of Rs 22,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 35,000. The MT variant is available with a cash discount of Rs 17,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000.
The Petrol MT variant of the WagonR is available with a cash discount of Rs 25,000. The AMT and the CNG variants are available with a cash discount of Rs 30,000. Moreover, both the MT variants get an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 while the AMT variant gets an exchange bonus of Rs 35,000.
You benefit from a cash discount of Rs 20,000 on the petrol-powered Celerio MT and AMT. A cash discount of Rs 15,000 is available on the Celerio CNG and Celerio Tour H2. You also get an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 on exchanging your less-than-7-year-old car with the Celerio Petrol MT, CNG, and Tour H2.
The Ertiga MPV will get a complete model replacement in the coming months. No surprise, then, that it’s on sale with huge price cuts. You get a cash discount of Rs 20,000 along with an exchange bonus of up to Rs 45,000.
The Ford Figo is about to get a facelift. Hence, the dealers are trying to quickly get rid of the leftover stock. So they are offering a pretty huge discount. This offer comprises of a cash discount of Rs 31,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 19,000 for non-Ford cars and Rs 25,000 for Ford cars.
Even the Aspire will soon get a facelift and the company is trying hard to get rid of the existing stock. Hence, you get a cash discount of Rs 43,000 along with an exchange bonus of Rs 19,000 for non-Ford cars and Rs 25,000 for Ford cars. The company has already suspended the production of the current model, thereby signaling that the launch of the new Aspire isn’t too far in the offing.
Mahindra updated the KUV100 a few months back. However, the facelift is already on sale with heavy discounts. You get up to Rs 40,000 cash discount on the K6+ and K8 variants. K2 and K4 variants get a discount of Rs 18,000 and Rs 24,000, respectively. All variants get an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000.
Even the XUV500 is on sale with huge discounts. The XUV500 will soon get a facelift and hence, the current stock is being sold with heavy price cuts. You get as much as Rs 80,000 off on the 1.99-litre variants. The W10 variant is available with a discount of Rs 75,000. The W4, W6, and W9 variants get Rs 55,000 off. All variants get an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000.
The Elantra is easily among the most well-sorted D-segment sedans out there. It’s available with a cash discount of Rs 50,000 on select variants. The Elantra is already pretty well-priced and this cash discount makes it an even more attractive proposition. You also get an exchange bonus.
Even the Tucson is available with a cash discount of Rs 50,000 along with an exchange bonus. The Elantra isn’t really setting the sales charts on fire. Its segment-sales are largely dominated by the Jeep Compass. It now remains to be seen if such discounts can help Hyundai Motor India Ltd find more takers for the Tucson.
The Honda B-RV is available with a cash discount of Rs 60,000. It may be noted that the B-RV is yet to post great sales figures. Hence, many dealerships are offering huge discounts to push the sales of this car.
Other than these discounts, you might be able to benefit from some additional discounts by bargaining at the dealership.
