Audi has revealed the 2015 Q3 luxury crossover facelift. The luxury crossover will make it to Indian shores next year. In terms of changes, the 2015 Audi Q3 Facelift gains a new front fascia, revised alloy wheel designs and a mildly tweaked rear end. Changes on the front of the crossover include new headlamps, a revised grille and a reprofiled bumper. The headlamps can now be specified with LED output. The flanks see a visual change in terms of the new alloy wheel design while the rear of the crossover gets new tail lamps and a revised bumper.
On the inside, changes are minimal at best, and are restricted to features rather than the design getting a makeover. Stowage options are enhanced with the addition of a luggage compartment package and an extensible luggage compartment cover. A pass-through system and the power tailgate are the other feature additions. Safety features get a fillip in the form of blind spot assist, lane assist and traffic recognition systems. In terms of engines and transmissions, the Q3 Facelift is claimed to gain fuel efficiency to the tune of 17 %. Engines have also been tweaked to deliver slightly more power.
Audi offers the Q3 Facelift with choices of two turbo petrol and three turbo diesel engines. The 2 liter TDI turbo diesel engines are offered in 138 Bhp and 170 Bhp states of tune, along with manual and automatic gearboxes, and front wheel drive and all wheel drive systems. The petrol powered Audi gets 1.4 liter, 2 liter and 2.5 liter turbocharged, direct injected engine options. The top of the line Audi Q3 RS uses the 2.5 liter turbo petrol engine in a five cylinder layout. The luxury crossover, which will arrive into India next year, is expected to take the completely knocked down (CKD) kit route.
