Land Rover has launched the 2018 editions of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport SUVs in India. While the Range Rover Sport starts from Rs. 99.48 lakhs, the Range Rover is much more pricier, with prices starting from Rs. 1.74 crores, ex-showroom. Both SUVs are imported into India as completely built units (CBUs), straight from England. A hot favourite of India’s rich, the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport SUVs are positioned towards different buyer segments. While the Range Rover emphasizes on luxury and performance, the Range Rover Sport emphasizes more on performance and is smaller. This explains the major price difference between the two SUVs.
Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd. (JLRIL), said:
Peerless comfort and sophistication lie at the heart of Range Rovers.
