2019 Maserati Quattroporte launched in India

Italian luxury car manufacturer Maserati announced the launch of its Quattroporte diesel in India. The 2019 version is built to offer improved refinement levels in the flagship Maserati sedan. It gets new colours, wheel designs and interior veneers, redesigned gearshift lever and Pieno Fiore natural leather interiors. Notably, Bollywood actress Sunny Leone owns a previous generation version of the Quattroporte.

The 2019 model is offered in GranLusso and GranSport trims, representing the perfect blend of luxury and performance. At front, it has a dominant, powerful nose sculpted around the Alfieri-shaped 3D grille, which is pointed and imposing, featuring vertical chrome rib elements that contrast with the depth of the ‘sharknose’ effect.

Under the hood Quattroporte gets a high performance, 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine which comes with AdBlue technology and sets the benchmark in performance, efficiency and driving satisfaction. It has Active Sound technology that produces typical Maserati exhaust sound that underlines car’s performance-ready nature.

The 2019 Quattroporte gets a redesigned gearshift lever, featuring a more intuitive shift pattern, shorter travel and improved operation. The driver now gets the option to use the eight-speed ZF gearbox in automatic or manual mode simply by shifting the lever from right to left, while a new ‘P’ button effortlessly sets the transmission in parking mode. The MTC+ infotainment system has been enhanced with updated display graphics and improved climate control system ergonomics.

Maserati for the first time introduced full-grain Pieno Fiore leather, which is incomparable to any other material in the automotive industry for its natural, soft feel and the unique character it attains throughout the years. Pieno Fiore is available as an option in Quattroporte in three colours with specific stitching on the seats and double stitching on the door panels. Maserati also offers two brand new high-gloss interior veneers for the Quattroporte.

It is fitted with Harman Kardon Premium Sound system as standard. Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound systems is also available as an alternative option. The Alloy wheels get two new design with 20 and 21 inch size wheels. The first edition of 2019 Quattroporte will be available in Delhi initially. The 2019 Quattroporte’s GranLusso version is available at a starting price of INR 1.74 Cr and the Gransport version at INR 1.79 Cr all the prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
