2020 Honda Jazz BS6: First look on video

Honda Jazz is a premium hatchback sold by Japanese manufacturer in Indian market. Jazz is spacious premium hatchback that competes with cars like Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20 and Tata Altroz in the segment. Just like any other model from Honda, the Jazz has also been updated to meet the new emission norms and will soon be launched in the market. Honda has been teasing us with images and videos of the BS6 car for the last couple of months. The Jazz has started reaching dealerships before the official launch and here we have a detailed walkaround video of the BS6 car.

The video has been uploaded by Ujjwal Saxena on his youtube channel. The video shows all the changes that are made to the BS6 version of Honda Jazz. On the outside, Honda Jazz gets minor updates in terms of design and features. The signature Honda grille in the front now gets a black horizontal slat with chrome inserts in it. Similarly, the headlamps are now all LED units with DRL and turn indicators inside the cluster.

The design under the chrome grille has also been refreshed and the LED fog lamp area gets some changes too. Looking to the side profile, It still gets the same old 15 inch alloy wheels and the overall shape of the car remains the same. Honda is unlikely to launch the next gen Jazz in the Indian market.

Moving to the rear, basic design of the car again remains the same and the only visible change here is the revised bumper. Moving inside, everything remains the same as before. It gets an all-black interior with brushed aluminium inserts at places, beige coloured seats, multi function steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system slightly tilted towards the driver and so on. It still offers an electric sunroof which is not offered with any other car in the segment.

Honda Jazz BS6 will be using a BS6 compliant 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The diesel engine on the Jazz is likely to be discontinued. The petrol engine generates 88 Bhp and 110 Nm of torque and will be available with a manual and CVT gearbox option. Honda will soon be announcing the price for the Jazz BS6 premium hatchback. The car is known for its spacious interiors, high levels of refinement and bomb proof reliability.
