2020 Hyundai Tucson facelift launched in India

Hyundai is on a roll this year! Starting with the all-new Aura earlier this year, Hyundai launched the all-new Creta and the Verna facelift in the market. The South Korean brand is launching a facelifted version of the Tucson, which is the manufacturer’s most expensive car in the Indian market. Hyundai showcased the Tucson facelift at the 2020 Auto Expo with the changes. Hyundai has finally announced the price of the new Tucson.

Hyundai offers the Tucson in five trim levels. The diesel engine powered version also gets a 4WD system while the petrol variants only get a 2WD system. Here is a detailed price list.

The new Tucson looks visibly updated compared to the previous version. At the front, the grille has been updated with a new one and it now gets the signature Cascading grille like the other cars in the Hyundai family. The headlamps have become sleeker and they have now LED projector lamps for better visibility at night and also makes the car look much more premium. The new Tucson also gets LED DRLs integrated to the headlamps. It also gets redesigned fog lamps, new alloy wheels, R18 diamond-cut alloy wheels, twin-tip exhausts and split tall lamps with new LED lamps that make the car look much sportier than before.

The cabin of the Hyundai Tucson also gets updated with a slew of new features. First of all, the Tucson now feels much more premium from the inside. It now offers a massive 8.0-inch floating-type infotainment screen that offers BlueLink and other features. The feature list is quite long and also gets an electric panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, wireless mobile charging pad, semi-digital instrument cluster. The new Tucson also offers an all-black cabin. The mid-size Tucson offers an 8-speaker system. For convenience, there is a dual-zone climate control system, blind-spot detection, ESC, hill-assist control, cruise control and more. This is the first time that Tucson offers connected features. You can now wireless control the car’s engine, cabin temperature and more.

The Tucson offers both petrol and diesel engine options. It gets a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces a maximum power 185 PS and a 2.0-litre petrol engine that generate a maximum of 152 PS. The new Tucson also offers segment-first 8-speed automatic transmission with the diesel engine while the petrol engine will come with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Tucson also gets an electric parking brake and drive modes that make it suitable for various road conditions.
