2020 Tata Harrier XZA automatic top-end trim: Detailed walkaround video

Tata Motors had launched their famous mid-size SUV Harrier with a BS6 engine earlier this year at the Auto Expo. The Harrier is one of the popular SUV in the segment and competes with cars like Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, MG Hector, Jeep Compass, Mahindra XUV500 and so on. Harrier in it’s 2020 avatar was not just about BS6 engine. Tata Motors had made some changes to the Harrier to make it more convincing to the customers in this highly competitive segment. Here we have a walkaround video of the 2020 Harrier XZA trim that shows what all has changed in this SUV.

The video has been uploaded by Car Quest on hteir youtube channel. The video starts by explaining the trims levels and colour that are offered in the SUV. The two new colour available now with the Harrier are Calypso Red and Sparkle Cocoa. Video then shows what all has changed in the 2020 Harrier. The front of the Harrier remains the same. It gets the same gloss black grille which merge with the LED DRLS that act as turn indicators too. The headlamp is placed on the bumper and gets projector type units in it. Lower part part of the bumper gets a sliver colour faux skid plate which gives it an SUVish stance.

Coming to the side profile, the XZA trim of the 2020 Harrier gets an alloy wheel with a gunmetal grey finish and new design to it. ORVMs on the SUV are also redesigned. The rear of the Harrier remains unchanged with the same tail lights, Harrier badging and fog lamps positioned lower on the bumper. The XZ and XZA trim of the Harrier do not get the dual tone finish. It is only available with XZ+ and XZA+ trims which is the top-end trim of Harrier.

On the inside, The interiors retain the same layout with black and brown interiors with leather seats and manually 8-way adjustable seats. XZ trim does not get panoramic sunroof, dual tone alloys, electrically adjustable driver side seat function. It is only available in XZ+ trims. The XZA trim is the automatic version and gets the newly introduced torque converter automatic gearbox. The engine remains the same 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol unit which is now BS6 compliant and gets paired with both manual and automatic gearboxes. It generates 170 PS of power which is 30 PS more than the BS4 version. Automatic gearbox is available in XMA, XZA and XZA+ trims. Prices for the 2020 BS6 Harrier now starts at Rs 13.69 lakh ex-showroom.
