MG launched the new 2021 Hector and Hector Plus in the Indian market earlier this month. The updated versions of the Hector now come with added features that were missing from the previous version. MG has now released new TVC of the Hector too.
The updated Hector and the Hector Plus offer a long list of features. The price starts at Rs 12.89 lakh and Rs 13.55 lakh for the Hector and its Plus variant respectively. MG launched the facelift of the Hector only after 18 months of launch. This keeps the model fresh in the showrooms and by adding the missing features, the Hector has become even more attractive. It is already the best-selling vehicle in the segment as per data provided by the manufacturer.

In line with MG’s commitment to be at the forefront of the Auto-Tech Space, HECTOR 2021 has introduced an upgraded i-SMART with Hinglish Voice commands. MG HECTOR 2021 is equipped with engine start alarm and an in-car voice alert for critical tyre pressure. The internet SUV can now also understand & respond to 35+ Hinglish commands that control various in-car functions such as Sunroof (“Khul Ja Sim Sim”), FM (“FM Chalao”), AC (“Temperature Kam Kar do”) & many more.
MG HECTOR 2021 comes with 60+ Connected car features with newly added features like an i-SMART app on Apple watch, voice search for songs in Gaana app, Wi-Fi connectivity, Weather forecast by Accuweather, & many more.

MG has also released the official brochures that are available with the Hector and the Hector Plus. MG offers a range of add-ons for almost every part of the vehicle. There are also colour specific decals that can be added to the car to make it sportier. There are numerous accessories that can be added to the new 2021 Hector to customise the same according to one’s taste.
There are accessories for pet protection. It adds a guard to the sensitive and easily scratchable surfaces of the vehicle. Also, MG offers tablet holder, coat hanger, key sleeve, laptop tray and more such lifestyle accessories for the corporates who work on the go. Customers can also choose different customisation options like steering wheel tan cover, half seat cover and more. That’s not all, MG also offers defend me tool and Resqme tool that helps occupants to stay safe during travel.
Even though MG does not offer an air purifier as standard with the Hector even with the top-end version, they now offer the same as an accessory. Also, for the customers who have a problem with dry air, MG now offers air humidifier to maintain the humidity level inside the cabin even with the climate control system turned on.
