2021 Maruti Swift base trim with Limited Edition kit looks classy

Maruti Suzuki’s latest launch in the Indian market was the 2021 Swift. It came with some updates like a revised front, some new features and a new engine. Some dealerships sometimes make a special variant by adding a lot of accessories to the vehicle. Here is a limited edition package for Swift in which the dealership has added a lot of Maruti Suzuki Genuine Accessories to the base LXi variant. The video has been uploaded on AutoTrend’s YouTube channel.

In the video, we can see that the front of the Swift looks like any other LXi variant which means it comes with halogen headlamps and there are no fog lamps on offer also. However, the dealership has equipped it with the chrome slat grille that was introduced with the 2021 Swift. At the side, it comes with black door handles, black outside rearview mirrors and steel rims. But because it has been modified by the dealer, it comes with black wheel covers and side beading with chrome on them. There are also rain visors installed on all four doors. At the rear, there have been no changes made to the hatchback. So, it comes with LED tail lamps and four rear parking sensors.

There is a roof-mounted antenna in this Swift which has been connected to a touchscreen infotainment system of the car. Because of the accessory package, this Swift comes with all four power windows and one touch down function for the driver window. The steering wheel does not have any multi-function controls but the dealership has wrapped it with a steering wheel cover. Because it is an LXi variant, it also misses out on a multi-information display and a tachometer. Due to which the instrument cluster looks quite basic.

There is a dealer-installed touchscreen infotainment system that has been sourced from Pioneer. It is 6-inches in size and is surprisingly slick to use as per the host. It is paired with four speakers with two tweeters and comes with AM, FM, USB, AUX and Bluetooth. The car comes with manual climate control with air conditioning but it misses out on the day/night interior rearview mirror. It does come with an idle start/stop system because it is offered as standard with Swift now. Then there is the button for the perimetric alarm system which is there because of the central locking system that is installed by the dealer. The central locking system has been sourced from Nippon. All the doors get their own power window control that is installed by the dealer.

The cabin of the Swift in the video is black in colour just like its upholstery. It also misses out on adjustable headrests for the front seats and chrome on the gear lever. It does come with some safety equipment that Maruti Suzuki offers as standard. It comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, engine immobilizer, seatbelts with pre-tensioners and ISOFIX child seat mounts. The Limited Edition package also comes with rubberized floor mats and the boot mat will be fitted at the time of delivery. The cost of all the accessories is Rs. 41,664 but with the Limited Edition package, you get it for Rs. 35,940.
