All-new 2022 Maruti Alto K10 VXi+ model in a detailed walkaround video

Maruti Suzuki has just launched the new Alto K10 in the market. The cars have already started reaching dealerships across the country. Images and video of the new Alto K10 are available online too. The all-new Alto K10 is different from the older generation models and here we have a detailed walkaround video that shows what all has changed and the features that it offers.

The video has been uploaded by Power Racer on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger shows what all features does the top-end variant of Alto K10 offers. The car seen here in the video is the VXi+ model which comes with all the features. On the outside, the Alto K10 comes with a very different looking front fascia. Vlogger mentions that the design reminded him of A Star. The headlamps are halogen units with turn indicators in it. The Suzuki logo is placed just above the large front grille.

The front griller gets a trapezoidal design with hexagon design inserts in it. The bumper does not even come with a provision for fog lamps. Alto K10 is slightly larger and offer more space than the Alto 800. It is based on the HEARTECT platform which we have seen on many other Maruti models. Coming to the side profile, the Alto K10 gets 13 inch steel rims. The turn indicators are mounted on the fenders and not on the ORVMs. The ORVMs are not body coloured and the pillars are all body coloured. At the rear, the car looks very similar to the all-new Celerio, especially the tail lamps. The vlogger shows how much boot space does the Alto actually offer. The spare wheel in the Alto K10 is also a 13 inch unit.

Vlogger then shows the key fob of the Alto k10. It is the same key that Maruti is offering with many other models. Maruti will be offering Alto K10 in Std, LXI, VXI and VXI+ variants. The VXI+ variant seen here will have features like power windows at the front, multi-function steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system, manual AC and so on. The instrument cluster on this hatchback is the same unit that we have seen with S-Presso. It is a fully digital instrument cluster which shows various information like speed, trip meter, fuel economy and so on.

The VXI+ variant gets dual-tone fabric seats and the vlogger mentions that the fit and finish of the materials on this hatchback look satisfactory.  The car offers airbags, reverse parking sensors but, a reverse parking camera is missing. The all-new Alto K10 is powered by an updated K10C series 1.0 litre petrol engine. The same engine is available with S-Presso as well. It generates 66 Bhp and 89 Nm of peak torque. It will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. The higher variant would also get the option of an AMT gearbox. Maruti might introduce CNG version on Alto at a later stage.
