Just-launched 2022 Maruti Baleno premium hatchback modified with 17 inch aftermarket alloy wheels [Video]

Maruti launched the new age Baleno premium hatchback in the market recently. Maruti has given the hatchback several major and minor updated to make it more attractive for buyers. Maruti Baleno competes with cars like Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz and Tata Altroz in the segment. Deliveries for the 2022 Maruti Baleno has already started and the manufacturer has already received over 25,000 booking for this hatchback. People have already started modifying the all-new hatchback and here we have one such video where a brand new 2022 Maruti Baleno hatchback has been modified with aftermarket alloy wheels and accessories.

The video has been uploaded by 47 NATION on their YouTube channel. Video starts with vlogger talking about the new design of the hatchback and also speaks about the modifications done to it. The White coloured hatchback seen here is the Delta variant which is one above the base variant. It comes with decent list of features like a projector headlamp, LED DRL, all four power window, rear roof mounted spoiler, touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted control, automatic climate control and so on.

Vlogger then talks about the modifications. This is a brand new car and the owner directly took the car to nearby market for these modifications. The front gets a matrix styled LED DRL strip just above the headlamps and under the bonnet. This is different from the one integrated with the headlamps from factory. The car misses on fog lamps and the owner mentions that he could not find one as the car is still new in the market.

Coming to the side profile, the car gets 17 inch Silver finished 5-spoke aftermarket alloy wheels. The 17 inch wheels have changed the overall look of the car. The brake calipers are finished in Yellow for a contrasting look. No changes have been made to the rear profile of the car except one. The car gets a reverse parking camera installed in it as an aftermarket accessory. Other than this, the owner of this Baleno has installed floor mats and has also upgraded the speakers in the car for better quality. He has used components from Infinity for a premium sound output.

In the video, vlogger asks the owner whether he would be installing an aftermarket CNG kit in the car. Owner said that he will use the car in petrol for an year and only after that he’ll think about making such a move. Higher variants of Maruti Baleno come with more features and an updated engine when compared with the older version. The 2022 Maruti Baleno is powered by a 1.2 litre DualJet petrol engine that generates 90 Ps and 113 Nm of torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. It also offers features like 360 degree camera, auto-dimming IRVMs, Suzuki’s voice assistant and many more.

2022 Maruti Baleno also comes with Auto Start Stop System that helps in increasing the overall fuel efficiency of the car. The manual version has a certified fuel efficiency of 22.35 kmpl whereas the AMT version has 22.94 kmpl. Prices for Maruti Baleno starts at Rs 6.35 lakh, ex-showroom.
