Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is one of the most popular sub-4 meter compact SUV in the segment. The SUV competes with cars like Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300 and Tata Nexon in the segment. Maruti is currently working on a new-generation of the SUV. The new version of the Brezza has been spotted testing several times and it is expected to be launched in the market some time next year. Based on the spy pictures that are available online, here we have a render video that shows how the upcoming 2022 version of Maruti Brezza would look like.
The video has been uploaded by SRK Designs on their YouTube channel. The render artist starts with an old render that he had done in the past. The front fascia of the car has received a major update. The front grille on the SUV has been replaced with a redesigned unit. The Suzuki logo is placed right in the center of the upper grille. Like current generation Brezza, the upcoming model will also have a chrome plated grille.

The headlamps on the upcoming version of Brezza act as an extended version of the grille. There are twin LED DRLs in it and the headlamp unit looks like a projector unit. The bumper on this Maruti Brezza is different from the current version. It looks a lot more muscular and has a thick black cladding on the lower portion of the bumper. The fog lamps are placed on the bumper and they are LED units too.
The lower part of the bumper also gets faux silver accents on it. The wheel arches on the 2022 Maruti Brezza were slightly squared for that SUV look. The render seen in he video is finished in dual tone. The SUV does retain the boxy look and there are other elements like a thick black cladding on the lower part of the door. All the pillars are blacked out and the roof gets a roof rail as well.
The video does not show the rear of the car but, from the spy shots and render images, it is evident that the rear would also receive some changes. The car will get a sleeker looking split tail lamp unit. It is possible that it would an LED unit. The rear bumper on the car will also receive an update. Moving in, the interiors would also see an new design language.
The all-new Brezza would come with floating type bigger touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features that Maruti is expected to offer with all-new Brezza is an electric sunroof, leatherette upholstery, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control and so on.
The SUV will continue to be powered by the same petrol engine as current version. It is a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated engine that generates 105 Ps and 138 Nm of peak torque. The automatic version gets Smart Hybrid system. In the upcoming 2022 version Maruti is expected to replace the 4-speed automatic transmission for a 6-speed automatic unit. 5-speed manual gearbox will also be offered with the SUV.
