Kia India has announced that bookings for its recently unveiled 2023 Seltos SUV facelift has already crossed 13,424 in a matter of just 24 hours. The facelift was officially revealed on July 4, 2023. You can find details of the facelift, as well as stock photos of the newly launched car on the link.
The Kia Seltos facelift is mechanically unchanged, but comes with a bunch of new features and visual enhancements which seem to have caught the fancy of the mis-suze SUV buyers in India.
Among the bookings, 1,973 were made using the K-Code, a special program specifically designed to provide priority delivery for existing Seltos owners. This unique initiative has enabled loyal Kia customers to secure their bookings swiftly and enjoy an enhanced ownership experience.

Prospective buyers can reserve their own Kia Seltos facelift by visiting the official Kia India website or by visiting authorized Kia dealerships nationwide. To secure a booking, customers are required to pay a nominal token amount of ₹25,000.
The 2020 Kia Seltos is is available in three powertrain variants and can be paired with any of the five transmission choices offered – as before the facelift. Additionally, customers can choose from three trim options: X-line, GT-line, and Tech line. The SUV also boasts an extensive palette of eight color options, including two dual-tone variations and an exclusive matte graphite variant.
Notable changes to the exterior design of the Seltos facelift include a larger, more prominent grille and revamped all-LED headlamps with integrated daytime running LEDs. The front bumper has been redesigned to accommodate the ADAS suite’s radar, while the fog lamp housings have been redesigned and now look much cooler.
Inside the cabin, the new Seltos offers a revamped dashboard and an array of comfort and convenience features. One notable addition is the inclusion of a new fully-digital cockpit, comprising two 10.25-inch screens for the instrument console and infotainment system. Another first-in-segment feature is the incorporation of a dedicated panel in the lower center console, specifically for the dual-zone automatic climate control.
The current segment leader in India is the Hyundai Creta – a sibling model. Seltos was dethroned in June as the no.2 highest selling vehicle in the segment by the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
The Seltos has its taks cut out – take back the No.2 slot (and perhaps even take a shot at the no.1 shot) from Maruti Grand Vitara, as well as take preventive action against the upcoming Honda Elevate – a brand that can give serious competition to Hyundai and Kia in India. However, the Elevate starts off with a disadvantage – a single engine option, seriously limiting choices for Honda fans. Between Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, the combine might be able to take back top spot from the Vitara nipping at their heels, and the Elevate just around the corner!
