2023 Kia Seltos Facelift rendered with extreme aero looks crazy [Video]

The South Korean automotive giant, Kia Motor India, recently unveiled the 2023 facelifted iteration of its highly popular mid-size SUV, the Seltos. The new model boasts a significantly revised exterior and interior design, quickly garnering attention from SUV buyers in the country. Taking the new 2023 Kia Seltos as the base, one of the country’s popular artists has created a video rendering of the Seltos reimagined as a performance car. The artist has dubbed this creation the Kia Seltos Performante, inspired by the more track-oriented super SUV, the Lamborghini Urus Performante.

The video rendering of the new Kia Seltos Performante has been shared on YouTube by Bagrawala Designs on their channel. From this video, it can be observed that the SUV has undergone a complete makeover, resembling the more performance-oriented iteration of the Lamborghini Urus. The Kia Seltos is currently one of the most popular SUVs in India and across the globe. Keen-eyed viewers might also notice some Mansory vibes from this render as well.

At the front, the car features a fully redesigned front bumper, which is much more aggressive than the stock version. Additionally, an extremely aggressive front splitter with massive side canards can be seen on the rendered SUV’s front. Moving a little higher, a carbon fiber scoop on the bonnet is also noticeable. From the sides, the SUV has a much more aggressive profile with wider fender flares and aero channels. The side profile also showcases a set of massive alloy wheels with extremely low-profile tires.

Moving to the rear, a massive forged carbon fiber decklid spoiler is visible, along with a small duckbill spoiler on top of the rear connected taillamps. In the render, the rear taillights glow green, although they are typically red according to regulations. Furthermore, a massive carbon fiber rear bumper with a forged carbon fiber diffuser can also be noticed. This rendered SUV combines the already aggressive styling of the Kia Seltos with an even more aggressive forged carbon fiber body kit.

The all-new Kia Seltos facelift is offered with two petrol engines and a diesel engine. The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine delivers a maximum power of 115 PS and a torque of 144 Nm, while the 1.5-liter diesel engine provides a maximum power of 115 PS and a torque of 250 Nm. Additionally, there is a new 1.5-liter petrol turbocharged engine, shared with the Carens, generating 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, six-speed iMT, six-speed torque converter, seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, and CVT transmissions.
