Kia India, the Indian subsidiary of South Korean automaker Kia, has shaken up the mid-size SUV segment with the launch of its 2023 Seltos facelift. This revamped version of the Seltos introduces significant design changes to both the front and rear of the car, as well as numerous interior updates. To promote the launch of this facelifted model, the company has released a new television commercial (TVC) showcasing the 2023 Kia Seltos’ enhancements and new features.
The official Kia India channel has shared the all-new Seltos TVC on YouTube, as well as on other social media channels associated with the brand. The TVC features a brand-new Kia Seltos displayed inside a warehouse, with a theme inspired by combat gaming. The commercial begins by highlighting the Seltos’ fresh exterior design, showcasing its refreshed front LED DRL and headlight lighting system known as the Star Map LED headlights and DRLs.

The TVC then focuses on the new features of the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift. It emphasizes the inclusion of sequential style LED turn indicators and Star Map rear LED taillights. The commercial proceeds to show the car from a top view, revealing the latest addition—an impressive dual pane panoramic sunroof, which can now be voice controlled. Additionally, the TVC presents the dual sport exhaust system.
Moving to the interior, the TVC demonstrates that the new Kia Seltos facelift is equipped with a new fully-digital cockpit featuring two 10.25-inch screens for the instrument console and infotainment system. The lower center console has been revised to incorporate a new panel for the dual-zone automatic climate control, a first-in-segment feature.
Furthermore, the TVC highlights additional features of the new Seltos, such as a full-TFT instrument console with multiple display modes, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Alexa integration, and a powered driver’s seat. The Seltos also offers leather upholstery, six airbags, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, and a wireless charger. Additionally, it is equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, which includes 17 autonomous safety features. The Seltos will be available in eight monotone colors, two dual-tone colors, and an exclusive matte color option for the X-Line variant.
Regarding powertrains, the new Seltos facelift offers two petrol engines and a diesel engine. The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine delivers a maximum power of 115 PS and torque of 144 Nm, while the 1.5-liter diesel engine provides a maximum power of 115 PS and torque of 250 Nm. Additionally, there is a new 1.5-liter petrol turbocharged engine, shared with the Carens, generating 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, six-speed iMT, six-speed torque converter, seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, and CVT transmissions.
