The new MG Hector will now be available across five variants – Style, Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro. Meanwhile, the Hector Plus will be available in Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro variants. The range-topping Savvy Pro variants are offered only with the combination of a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine and CVT gearbox. The Hector and Hector Plus are also offered with the powertrain combinations of a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with a 6-speed manual and a 2.0-litre diesel with a 6-speed manual.

The most apparent change in the revised versions of the Hector and Hector Plus is the heavily updated front fascia, which remains the same in both SUVs. The front profile now features an Argyle-inspired diamond-mesh grille, which extends towards the bottom of the front bumper. There are also new angular housings for the all-LED headlamps and a new front bumper, though the split dual-functioning daytime running LEDs remain the same as before.

Even the side profile of both the SUVs remains unchanged, with the same 18-inch alloy wheels, body cladding and roof rails. At the back, the new Hector and Hector Plus get connecting LED light bar between the LED tail lamps, replacing the black garnish of the previous version. The rear bumper also has been revised with new faux exhaust ports.

The cabins of both the Hector and Hector Plus have the same layout, but look completely different from their previous versions. While the five-seater Hector gets an all-black upholstery with satin silver accents, the six and seven-seater Hector Plus gets the same cabin but in a different dual-tone Argil Brown and black upholstery with faux wood accents. Like before, the six-seater version comes with captain seats in the middle row, while the seven-seater version gets a flat bench in its place.

The cabin of both the new SUVs feels more new-age with the large, new 14-inch portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system, which supports more new functions and voice commands. The dashboard looks sleeker than before with revised AC vents and a new full-TFT instrument console. In addition to all the features from the previous versions, the new facelifted versions also get additional features like a digital Bluetooth key with key sharing function and eleven different functions in its ADAS package. However, the suite of ADAS, which also get traffic jam assist and intelligent auto-turn indicators, is available exclusively in the Savvy Pro variant.
