Toyota Kirloskar on Monday announced the prices of the top two variants of the latest Innova Crysta. The Innova Crysta was updated a few weeks ago and the price of the new updated MPV starts at Rs 16.26 lakh. Toyota has now announced the price of the top-end variants and the most-expensive variant gets a price tag of Rs 25.43 lakh, ex-showroom.
Toyota has announced the prices of top-end VX and ZX trims. The ZX seven-seater variant gets a price tag of Rs 25.43 lakh (ex-showroom). The next is the eight-seater VX variant gets a price tag of Rs 23.84 lakh (ex-showroom). The same VX seven-seat variant gets a price tag of Rs 23.79 lakh, ex-showroom. The brand has started accepting bookings for the new model for an amount of Rs 50,000.

Toyota updated the new Innova Crysta with minor changes. The MPV gets a trapezoidal piano black grille with chrome plating. Toyota has also updated the design of the front bumper and the diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Atul Sood, Vice President, Sales and Strategic Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said,

With its tough and rugged front fascia, and a perfect blend of style, comfort, and performance, the New Innova Crysta is sure to carry forward the legacy of the renowned Innova. The vehicle boasts of advanced safety features that ensure utmost safety of passengers and we are confident that our customers will appreciate and enjoy the enhanced driving experience offered by this vehicle.”
The Innova Crysta has undergone a facelift that includes a redesigned front fascia with more chrome accents and a newly designed front bumper. However, the interior and feature list of the MPV remains largely unchanged. The equipment list still includes features like the 8-way power adjustable driver seat, Smart Entry System, Seat Back Table, TFT MID with comprehensive Driving Information, Leather Seat Color Choices (Black & Camel Tan), Ambient lighting, and One Touch Tumble Second Row Seats.

In terms of safety, the new Innova Crysta will be equipped with 7 SRS Airbags, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Vehicle Stability Control and Hill-Start Assist Control, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), and 3-point Seatbelt and Headrest for improved safety.
Under the hood, it will continue to be powered by the same 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder GD turbodiesel engine that produces 148 Bhp-343 Nm (360 Nm on the automatic trim). However, there will be no automatic transmission option available this time, only a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.
