India-bound All-New Ford Endeavour: Base Diesel Variant Driven [Video]

2024 ford endeavour trend video review

SUV lovers in India are eagerly waiting for the launch of the new Endeavour. There are no confirmations regarding the launch date of the SUV but multiple spottings have confirmed that it could be launched soon. We have already covered the detailed walk-around video of the top model of the 2024 Endeavour, and today, we will learn about the base trend trim. The YouTube video uploaded by ‘Bunny Punia’ gives us a review of the 2024 Endeavour, which could be launched in India very soon.

The video starts with the exterior of the car. On the front, the SUV comes with C-shaped headlights with DRLs and big bold grille. The SUV comes equipped with fog lights, front parking sensors while ADAS, seen on top model, remains missing.

One important thing to note is that this is a Thailand-spec car, and some things may be different from the one that will be launched in India. This particular car is the base trend trim in a 4×2 configuration. This variant is powered by the 2.0 litre engine producing 170 hp paired with a 6 speed automatic gearbox.

The trend variant comes with 18 inch alloy wheels as opposed to 20 inch alloys in top model. The host mentions that the new Endeavour is bigger in terms of dimensions from the old Endeavour and current Fortuner.

The rear of the car comes with LED taillights, which are not connected. The design of the rear profile of the SUV is entirely changed and it looks much more robust now. Overall, the exterior design remains the same as the top model except for the alloy wheels.

The YouTuber does a quick acceleration test of the SUV, pulling to about 108 km/h in a few seconds. However, he doesn’t mention the time taken by the SUV. Stepping inside, the interior comes loaded with all the necessities. Push button start, leather seats, twin glove boxes, digital driver’s display, steering mounted controls, a huge armrest and much more are included. However, the main talking point of the interior is the huge vertical infotainment system. The interior is finished in an all-black theme.

As compared to the top model, the trend variant lack certain things such as soft touch material on dashboard, panoramic sunroof, manually adjustable co-driver seat (only the driver seat is electrically adjustable) and no seat ventilation. The host mentions that this particular model is very value for money.

After the features, the host talks about the 2nd row seating space. He has not mentioned his height but looks tall. With the driver seat adjusted according to him, he has enough space on the 2nd row. This indicates that the Endeavour can comfortably accommodate multiple tall passengers.

Amenities in the 2nd row include roof-mounted AC vents and an armrest with twin cup holders. The host highlights the neat placement of the door handles. He also mentions that the 3rd row is practical for kids only or for adults for small time periods. Another missing feature in the trend variant is the electrically powered tailgate and electrically foldable 3rd row seats.
