2024 Hyundai Creta Base E Variant With Diesel Engine: Closer Look On Video

Hyundai Motor India Limited has taken the entire country by storm with the launch of the brand-new Creta facelift. The all-new 2024 Creta has been launched in India with a brand-new exterior and interior design. The company has launched the new model in 7 variants, and of these 7, the base E variant is its most popular variant. Recently, a video showing this exact variant has been shared online.
The all-new 2024 Creta base E variant’s in-depth walkaround video has been shared on YouTube by Sanscari Sumit on their channel. It starts off with the presenter mentioning that it is one of the most popular variants of the Creta. The base E variant costs Rs 10.99 lakh, added the host. The presenter also mentions that the company, instead of launching the international facelift model, has given the Creta a full revamp for the Indian automotive market.
Following the introduction, the presenter then starts with the detailed walkaround of the exterior of the SUV. He starts at the front and mentions that the base Creta also gets an imposing front fascia with the new rectangular grille with matte grey elements. He explains that the inverted L-shaped lights on the top, unlike more expensive variants, are not LED DRLs. Rather, they are halogen-based pilot lights that start when the headlights are turned on.
He then shows the new vertically stacked headlights. He explains that the headlights have a halogen-based projector light for the low beam. Meanwhile, there are reflector-based high beam halogen lamps. Next up, he shows the new matte silver Hyundai logo, new silver skid plate, and the all-new bumper.
Moving on to the side profile, the presenter mentions that the side profile has been kept the same. It gets the same 16-inch steel wheels with an old wheel cover design. It also gets a silver C-pillar element and blacked-out A and B pillars. Following this, he then shows the rear end of the new car. The presenter states that Hyundai has completely revamped the rear end. He shows the new LED-connected taillight with halogen reverse and brake lights. He adds that the reverse light has been placed in the middle of the lower rear bumper.
After showing the exterior details of the new Hyundai Creta base E variant, he then shows the interior of the car. He first shows the new dual-tone interior theme of the car. This time around, the company is offering the new Creta with a light grey and white combination. He mentions that the base variant does not come equipped with an infotainment system or the more advanced digital instrument gauge cluster.
He adds that it still gets a decent digital instrument gauge cluster with a tyre pressure monitoring system and other essential features. It also gets a manual air conditioning system, all-four power windows, and a center armrest. It also comes equipped with a number of safety features, including six airbags as standard, ABS, EBD, and Vehicle Stability Program.
Following the interior, the presenter shows the powertrain of the SUV. He states that the 2024 model carries forward the old engines. This particular model is powered by a 1.5-litre CRDI VGT diesel engine. It makes a total of 118 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
