The newest Creta EV test mule was seen based on the facelifted model. It was noted that this test mule boasted the same front fascia as the new Creta facelift. However, there were some distinct changes on the test mule that helped it to be distinguished as an EV.

It can be seen from the picture that it was equipped with a closed-off grille and bumper. This is the most common way for the companies to create distinction amongst ICE and EV models of the same vehicle. We can also observe that it will get the same connected LED DRL at the front.

Most likely, it will also get the same LED headlights which have been vertically stacked in the new Creta facelift. The car will also come with minimal side profile changes. The only major update on the side profile of the test mule was the addition of new closed-off alloy wheels with an aero disc design.

Although there are no pictures of the rear of the new Creta EV test mule, it is being speculated that it will continue to boast the same connected LED tail lamps. It will also most likely get the sequential turn signals and an aerodynamic spoiler with an LED high-mounted stop lamp.

As stated above, currently, there is only one image of the test mule. However, it would be safe to assume that the company will be keeping its interior the same as the ICE model.

The list of shared features from the new Creta with the Creta EV could include the new 10.25-inch integrated infotainment and instrument screens and voice-enabled panoramic sunroof. It would most certainly also get ventilated seats, Bose sound system, and dual-zone automatic temperature control.

Additional premium features may be borrowed from the Ioniq 5. It could get the range of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features as well. It will also come with 6 airbags and a host of other standard safety features as the recently launched Hyundai Creta facelift.

As reported before, the upcoming Creta EV will be equipped with a 45 kWh battery pack manufactured by LG Chem. Expected certified range from this battery pack is around 450 km. However, the real-world range is expected to be around 300 km.

It has also been reported that the Creta EV could utilize a single-motor setup on the front axle. This setup will be similar to the Kona electric SUV from the company. It will be capable of generating 138 bhp of maximum power and 255 Nm of peak torque.

It is being reported that the new Hyundai Creta electric SUV will also get an advanced regenerative braking system to optimize range. Additionally, a fast charging option will be available with this SUV, similar to the one on the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The Ioniq 5 can charge from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes using an ultra-fast charger.
