The year is winding to an end, and car launches have all but dried up. November is usually the last month when car launches happen and December is generally a time only for unveils. Here are 3 mass market car and SUVs that will either be launched or unveiled this month.
BYD Atto3
Chinese electric vehicle giant showcased the Atto3 electric SUV last month, and the official launch is expected to happen later this month. Pre-bookings for the BYD Atto3 are already open, and the price announcement is just around the corner. The Atto3 will go up against the likes of the Hyundai Kona and MG eZS electric SUVs, but will be priced at a premium.
The Atto3 gets a 60.48 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 521 km. Expect a real world range between 350-400 kilometers, which should be enough for most buyers. The Atto3’s electric motor drives the front wheels, and puts out 201 BHP-310 Nm. Claimed acceleration number of 7..1 seconds for the 0-100 Kmph run makes the Atto3 the fastest electric SUVs in its segment.

From a panoramic sunroof to advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), the HyCross promises to be the most feature-packed Innova, ever!
Tata Tiago NRG iCNG

The Tiago NRG is essentially the crossover version of the hot selling Tiago hatchback, and the car will soon be available with a factory fitted CNG option. The CNG kit will give the Tiago NRG dual fuel functionality, and the car will be able to run on either CNG or petrol depending on the mode chosen by the driver. This will give the Tiago NRG iCNG the ability to be a frugal city hatchback as well as a highway mile muncher depending on what the situation demands.
The Tiago NRG iCNG will be powered by a 1.2 liter-3 cylinder Revotron naturally aspirated petrol engine with CNG functionality. While this engine makes 84 Bhp-115 Nm while running on petrol, it puts out while running on 72 Bhp-95 Nm CNG. A 5 speed manual gearbox will be standard. Switching between petrol and CNG can be done by means of a dashboard switch. The price announcement is expected to happen very soon.
