First and foremost, the country’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, will be launching its most expensive offering yet, the premium hybrid MPV Invicto. The Maruti Suzuki Invicto is the badge-engineered iteration of Toyota’s highly popular MPV, the Innova Hycross. The Maruti counterpart will look almost exactly like the Toyota Innova Hycross, with the exception of design changes on the front grille and bumper. The interior and exterior of the Invicto will pretty much be the same as the Innova Hycross. Check out our Maruti Suzuki Invicto Hub for more.

With its powerful 2.0-liter hybrid powertrain, which combines a 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle petrol engine with an e-CVT transmission, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto is expected to make its debut in the country. The power output produced by this setup will be an astounding 184 horsepower. Being the first Maruti Suzuki car to only feature an automatic gearbox, the Invicto will sit as the company’s flagship vehicle in the country and will be launched on July 5. The Invicto will most likely be priced in the range of Rs 20 – 30.20 Lakh.

Hyundai Exter

The South Korean automotive giant is gearing up to launch its newest product in the lineup, the Hyundai Exter. This new micro-SUV will be positioned as the most affordable SUV in the Hyundai lineup and will directly compete with the highly popular Tata Punch. Recently, the first Exter micro SUV was rolled out of Hyundai’s facility in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. The Exter will be offered in 13 petrol variants and a few CNG variants as well. The expected price range for the Hyundai Exter is between Rs. 6.00 – 10.00 Lakh. Hyundai will most likely launch the Exter on July 10.

The Exter’s exterior design includes a modern split LED headlamp design with H-shaped LED DRLs, a sporty front bumper with a silver skid plate, H-shaped LED taillights, and a massive silver skid plate, giving it a tall boy appearance. The interior of the Exter will be spacious and will include textured plastic material on the passenger side, a single-stack infotainment screen, a digital instrument cluster, and automatic climate control. The seats will feature sporty semi-leatherette upholstery. It will also have a factory-installed dashcam. The car will also have an 8-inch infotainment screen and a 4.2-inch TFT MID instrument cluster, with support for 10 regional and 2 global languages.

Another South Korean automotive giant, Kia Motors India, which happens to be the sister brand of the above-mentioned Hyundai Motors India, will be launching the updated iteration of its highly popular mid-size SUV, the Seltos, in July. As of yet, the exact date has not been revealed by the company. In terms of changes, the Kia Seltos will receive some drastic changes to the exterior and interior design, as shown by the facelifted model from the international markets. Recently, a few test mules of this popular mid-size SUV were also spotted testing on the Indian roads.

A panoramic sunroof, an ADAS suite of safety systems, and dual-zone automated temperature control, which are missing from the existing Seltos model, will all be included in the revised Seltos. A head-up display, heated front seats, a wireless charger, a 360-degree parking camera, and a premium BOSE audio system will also remain. The Kia Seltos facelift will feature the same 1.5-liter 115 PS gasoline and 1.5-liter 115 PS diesel engines as the outgoing model in terms of powertrains. However, a more potent 1.5-liter 160 PS turbocharged petrol engine that most recently made its debut in the Kia Carens will replace the 1.4-liter 140 PS turbocharged petrol engine, which was previously offered.
