Mercedes-Benz is one of the largest luxury car manufacturers in India. They have one of the largest line-ups of cars in the Indian market. One of the most luxurious cars that the manufacturer sells in the Indian market is the Maybach S-Class. It is a much more premium than the regular S-Class. It is extremely expensive and for the same reason not everyone can actually buy this sedan. Even people who have bought this sedan have worked hard for years to own this. Many Indian celebrities have this sedan in their garage we have featured some of them on our website in the past. However, a 33-year-old man now broken the record and become the youngest owner of a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.

Recently Abhishek ‘Monty’ Agarwal, who is 33 years old, bought a brand new Mercedes-Maybach S 680 luxury sedan. He has now become the youngest person in the country to own a Maybach sedan in the country. Abhishek is the founder of Purple Style Labs which is currently one of the largest fashion houses of India. He took the delivery of the flagship luxury sedan in Mumbai. The images of Abhishek taking the delivery of his brand new luxury sedan have surfaced online and the pictures were actually clicked by a celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani on Instagram.

Another  thing to notice on Abhishek’s Maybach is the registration plate. It gets the Bharat registration plate which allows him to transfer or drive his car to any of the states and Union Territories without any issue. Usually people who own a regular registration number have to get the registration number changed or transferred whenever they get transferred from one state to another. Maybach already offers a long list of luxury features. However, just like any luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes also offers customisation options and Abhishek has also opted for some of them.

Coming to the Maybach S680 sedan, it is based on the standard S-Class sedan however it is much more longer. It gets 180 mm longer wheelbase to be precise. This makes the cabin extremely spacious for the rear passengers. The Maybach S 680 is almost 5.5 meters long. It is currently one of the longest cars available on sale in the market. As mentioned above, it is one of the most luxurious sedans in the market and it is available with a very unique feature which Mercedes-Benz calls “doormen”. This feature allows passenger to do a hand gesture and close the door automatically. Even the driver gets a dedicated button to operate the rear doors.

Most of the features on the Maybach S680 can be controlled from the rear seat. The Mercedes-Maybach S 680 is powered by a 6.0-litre turbocharged V12 engine, which is currently the largest engine offered by Mercedes-Benz in India. This engine generates a maximum of 610 Ps and 900 Nm of peak torque. The sedan is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes-Benz’s 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive and 19-inch alloy wheels are offered as standard. However, the owners can upsize the wheels to 20- or 21-inch wheels. The prices for Mercedes-Maybach S-Class starts at Rs 3.80 crore and it goes up depending on the optional extras.
