The love Indians possess for SUVs is greater than any other segment. This is the main reason that we have so many SUVs in so many segments. In recent years the carmakers in the country have tried to lure in more and more buyers into their brands with the launches of new SUVs. And now this month a few of the major automakers will make their customers even happier by unveiling the facelifts of some of the most popular SUVs in the country. Today we will tell you about some of these SUVs which will be receiving some updates this month.
Hyundai Creta Facelift
First and foremost the country’s most popular compact SUV the Hyundai Creta will be receiving its much-awaited update at the 2023 Auto Expo slated to commence on 13th of January. The Creta facelift has already been launched in the international markets for quite some time now.
The new Creta facelift will get substantial updates, especially in terms of features. The ADAS will be one of the highlights of the new Creta facelift. Hyundai has calibrated the ADAS for the Indian sub-continent region. The new Creta facelift will also get a fresh look with the new parametric style grille. The new mid-size SUV will have DRLs inbuilt into the grille of the car.

Kia Seltos Facelift
The cousin brand of the South Korean automaker Hyundai – Kia will also most likely unveil the facelifted iteration of its highly popular compact SUV Seltos at the 2023 Auto Expo. Like the Creta, the Seltos facelift has also broken the cover in the international markets for while now, but it will finally be unveiled in India as well.
According to reports, with the launch of this forthcoming facelift, the company will be replacing its 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 1.5-litre unit. The same engine will also be offered in the 2023 Hyundai Creta Facelift. Additionally, Kia will also be offering Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in the 2023 Seltos. Apart from this the Seltos will also boast some design changes on the exterior as well as the interior.
Tata Harrier Facelift
The country’s third largest automaker Tata Motors is gearing up to unveil the facelifts of its highly popular SUVs the Harrier and Safari at the Auto Expo 2023. Although the changes will be very minimal and will be restricted to highlights like a tweaked front grille, new LED inserts for the tail lamps and a possible upgradation of headlamps from HID to LED units, this update will help the company in boosting the sales.
Recently a fully camouflaged test mule of Tata Harrier was also spied with the current 18-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof. Furthermore in terms of feature additions, reportedly the Harrier facelift like the Seltos and Creta will get a full suite of advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS).
MG Hector Facelift
The 2023 Hector facelift will be unveiled on January 5 by the British car manufacturer owned by the Chinese auto giant SAIC Motor Corp., Ltd. The new Hector will have a drastically redesigned front end and a somewhat modified rear end. According to MG, the most significant modification will be in the interior of this SUV. Recently a video and a ton of pictures of the facelifted SUV were leaked online just before the official launch.
Most likely the 2023 Hector will also get the coveted ADAS functionality like all the SUVs mentioned above. One of the major highlights of the SUVs facelift will be its richer and more luxurious cabin, it will get a massive 14-inch portrait-styled touchscreen panel which will support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with connected car technology.
