Supercars are known for their unparalleled performance, striking design, and huge street presence. Among the car enthusiasts, these cars also enjoy an almost God-like status, at least in countries like India. However, there are a few crazy ways in which these cars have been used here.
Using a supercar as Uber taxi
Yes, the last-gen Audi R8 you see in the above video was really used as a Uber cab. Actually, it was part of a prank in which it was registered as a Maruti Dzire on the Uber cab-aggregator platform. The entire idea behind this prank was to surprise the unsuspecting Uber users by driving to them in this really cool supercar. The Uber users were even given a ride in the R8 and were dropped at their desired destinations.
Driving on really bad roads/off-road conditions
There’s hardly any supercar that has enough ground clearance to deal with the kind of bad roads our country is infamous for. Hence, it makes tremendous sense for an owner of a supercar in India to take into account the road conditions his or her supercar would need to drive on. The owner of this Lamborghini Huracan, however, probably forgot to plan his journey properly. The result? You can see this utterly gorgeous supercar struggling to drive through a totally broken patch of road. Sad!
Dealing with speed breakers
The unmindfully created speed breakers on Indian roads can easily damage the underbelly of even some of the sedans that are on sale in our country. Things get a lot worse for a supercar. Like we said, almost every supercar has a very low ground clearance, which means they struggle on most of the speed breakers that come their way. Seen above is a video that shows a mighty Bugatti Veyron trying really hard to pass over a speed breaker without scrapping its underbelly. It’s said that this incident was recorded while a prospective customer was taking a ride in a demo car.
Drifting on public roads
It’s said that with great power comes great responsibility. The driver of this Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2, however, probably feels otherwise. You can see him drifting his Italian supercar on a public road in Bangalore. While the road isn’t really congested, you can see that it’s not completely devoid of any traffic either. The driver can be even seen accelerating hard towards the end of the video.
‘Home delivered’ like a pizza!
It’s always a special experience to drive a brand-new car from the company’s dealership to your home. This spanking new Lamborghini Huracan Performante, however, was wrapped up, loaded on a flatbed truck and delivered to the doorstep of its owner! We’re really not kidding, you can check out a new Lamborghini Huracan Performante being delivered to the doorsteps of its owner in the video we have here. Well, it’s not uncommon to see brands like Lamborghini delivering these exotic cars to the doorsteps of the owners. As you can see in the video, the new car has a couple of covers on it to protect the high quality paintwork from getting scratched during the delivery process.
