The festive season is approaching, and most car manufacturers have started preparing for it. This is the time of the year when manufacturers either launch new models or update the existing models in the range. This year is no different. We have driven several cars in the last few months. While many of them have been launched officially, there are a few that people are curious about. Here is a list of 5 cars that will be launched in the month of September this year.
Honda Elevate
This is probably the most anticipated model from Honda this year. This model will mark Honda’s entry into the highly competitive compact SUV segment. The Elevate will compete with cars like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq in the segment. We drove the all-new Elevate in Udaipur, and a detailed review for the same is available on our website and YouTube channel. Honda is offering the SUV with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine only. The official launch of the Honda Elevate is expected to happen on September 4.

Nexon Facelift

Tata has been testing their popular sub-4 meter SUV Nexon for a very long time. The facelift of this popular sub-4 meter SUV will happen on September 14. Tata has made several changes to the exterior design and also added a lot more features than the previous model. It borrows design cues from the Curvv. The SUV will come with a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine that would be offered with a 5-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT transmission. The 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine will continue to offer a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AMT gearbox. Nexon facelift images have already leaked online before its official launch.
Nexon EV Facelift

While we have all been talking about the Nexon facelift, Tata has been working on the Nexon EV facelift too. The electric version of the sub-4 meter SUV has been the best-selling electric SUV in the country. Since its launch in 2019, the SUV has not received any updates. The Nexon EV facelift will be launched on September 14 alongside the ICE version. The SUV is expected to get similar exterior changes as the ICE version along with a revised interior.
Citroen C3 Aircross

This is the fourth model to be officially launched by the French car manufacturer in India. This is a compact SUV that will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, and other SUVs. A detailed first-drive review of the C3 Aircross is already live on our website and YouTube channel. Citroen is expected to launch the SUV in the market officially in September. The SUV is available in 5 and 5+2 seating configurations. It is expected to be priced very competitively as it misses out on a lot of features when compared to rivals.
Toyota Rumion
Toyota recently unveiled images of their upcoming MPV, Rumion, online. The car is actually a rebadged version of the Maruti Ertiga, which has been on sale in international markets already. Like other rebadged models, Toyota has made several cosmetic changes to the car to give it a Toyota-like identity. It is expected to be priced slightly above the Ertiga. Toyota is expected to launch the Rumion by the end of this month or early September.
