Maruti Suzuki has started working on a lot of new launches for the Indian market. The market share of the manufacturer has decreased because a lot of their products have started to show their age whereas the competitors are becoming stronger by offering more features and equipment.
New-gen Brezza
Finally, an all-new generation of Vitara Brezza is coming to India. It will be launching next year and will no longer use the “Vitara” name. Instead, it will simply be called “Brezza”.

There have already been some spy shots of the new compact SUV. It comes with new sleeker headlamps. There will be dual projectors and C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamps. The front and rear bumpers have been redesigned. The rear tail lamps are also new and look a lot slimmer.
Maruti Suzuki will also add a lot of features. There will be a larger touchscreen infotainment system, redesigned instrument cluster, SOS functionality, 360-degree parking camera, electric sunroof, cruise control and much more. It will still come with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that we have seen on the current Brezza.
Baleno Facelift
Baleno has been the best selling premium hatchback. However, now the competition is stronger with Tata’s Altroz and the new i20 coming with many features. 2022 Baleno looks aggressive when compared to the current-gen that has a more flowy and elegant design.
Just like the exterior, the interior will also be new. It will come with a new floating touchscreen infotainment system. We are expecting a slightly redesigned instrument cluster, automatic climate control, new dashboard, steering wheel from Swift and a redesigned upholstery.
Ertiga Facelift
Ertiga’s facelift was the most recent sighting. The only update to the exterior that was visible was the new grille that looked similar to the one found on the Baleno Facelift. It had the same projector headlamps, same front and rear bumpers and the LED tail lamps were also unchanged. As of now, it is not known what changes will be done to the interior. It will continue to be offered only with a petrol engine and a CNG option.
XL6 Facelift
Maruti Suzuki is also working on a facelift of the XL6. It will come with a new grille that looks similar to the one that we have seen on the recently unveiled S-Cross. The design is now expected to look more like a SUV. Moreover, this time Maruti Suzuki might also offer a 7-seater variant. Currently, the XL6 is only offered with captain seats. There will be no mechanical changes to the engine.
Alto
Maruti Suzuki has also started testing the Alto facelift. Not much is known about the Alto because the hatchback was covered with heavy camouflage. It is also expected to launch sometime next year.
The 2022 Alto 800 was running on skinny tyres with blacked-out steel wheels. The rear tail lamps looked squared-off while the front now looked more aggressive with more angular headlamps and a redesigned front bumper.
