Maruti Suzuki is bringing a slew of cars to the Indian market. The brand has already launched new cars like the new-gen Baleno, WagonR and Dzire CNG. Yet, the largest carmaker in the country is not done. Maruti Suzuki plans to bring in many more models in the next three months. Here are all the details as reported by ACI.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift
Maruti Suzuki will soon update the Ertiga MPV in India. It will be a mid-life update for the car. The test mules spotted testing on the roads suggests that the updated Ertiga will look very similar to the current model. The only exterior change seems to be the updated grille.

However, Maruti Suzuki is likely to retire the old four-speed torque converter automatic gearbox available with the Ertiga. Instead, it will offer a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The new Ertiga will also get a longer list of features including the new 9.0-inch infotainment system.
Maruti Suzuki XL6
The premium version of the Ertiga, which sells through the Nexa dealerships will also get an update soon. The new MPV will get similar mechanical updates to the Ertiga. On the outside, the new XL6 will get updated alloy wheels, a new bumper and likely an updated bonnet position to add that muscular stance. The same report also claims that the new XL6 will be available with both 6 and 7 seater options.
All-new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is due to a full model change this year. The new sub-4m compact SUV will carry forward the same Global C platform but there will be major changes in the car. The top hat or the body of the all-new Vitara Brezza will get major updates. The spy images suggest that the new model will get a different face and major changes inside the cabin.
Maruti Suzuki will power the upcoming car with the 1.5-litre petrol engine same as the current model. However, there will be changes in the engine and also the four-speed automatic will give way to the six-speed automatic.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG
Maruti Suzuki plans to launch the Nexa model line-up with optional CNG. The first car from the Nexa line-up to get CNG will be the all-new Baleno. It will use the same 1.2-litre engine. Maruti Suzuki may also offer the top-end variant of the Baleno with CNG, which will be a first for the company.
Maruti Suzuki Ignis
Maruti Suzuki will update the entry-level Nexa model-up hatchback – the Ignis with a new engine option. The car currently uses the 1.2-litre K12M engine that generates a maximum power of 83 PS. The new Ignis will offer the K12N engine, which generates a maximum power of 90 PS. The DualJet engine is already available with a few other models of Maruti Suzuki.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso
The S-Presso will also get an updated engine soon. The small crossover will get replace the current 1.0-litre K10B engine with the new K10C engine of the same capacity. The new engine is available with new cars like Celerio and WagonR. There is a drop of 1PS in the output of the new engine. However, it is much more fuel-efficient than before.
