Tata launched the refreshed Vista with a hope to lure in more buyers with features like steering mounted audio controls, Bluetooth connectivity and electrically adjustable rear-view mirrors. The Vista continues to be a popular premium hatch and has stood its ground against competition like the Hyundai i20, Maruti Swift and Volkswagen Polo.

The Vista is available in six petrol and four diesel variants with prices ranging from Rs. 3.88 lakh for the base petrol variant to Rs. 6.06 lakh for the top end diesel variant. Here we have listed some interesting features that make the Vista a good car for its features and gadgets.

 

Sporty front: The new Vista is available in six exciting colors like the yellow you see here (Tata calls it Summer Sparkle). It has a chrome grille up front that adds to its premium appeal, which along with the triple barrel headlamps and alloy wheels makes it much more attractive and sporty than its predecessor.

 

Sleek rear: At the rear the Vista sports a thick black glossy tailgate garnish that gives its boot some character. The long tail lamps make the car look wide and attractive, and the badge gets a new font.

 

Premium interiors: The black-grey dashboard and the beige upholstery go very well together and you do not feel like you are sitting inside a Vista hatchback, as it has a sedan-like feel to it. The cabin has a soothing and premium effect thanks to the improved quality of plastics which are of a soft-touch variety.

 

Steering mounted controls: The new Vista sports steering mounted controls on its mid- and upper-trim variants. These buttons can also be used to make and receive calls through the Bluetooth system, apart from fulfilling their primary purpose of surfing through channels and toggling the volume.

 

Adjustable mirrors and power windows: The VX, ZX, GVX and GZX variants of the Vista sport all four power windows. Tata has also added electrically adjustable rear-view mirrors to the Vista to bring it at par with the standards of the premium hatchbacks it competes with.

 

Audio system with Bluetooth: The Vista has a 2-DIN CD player, with USB, Aux-in and Bluetooth connectivity. All these features make the Vista extremely gadget friendly as it can support, flash drives, iPod’s, cell phones etc.
